Liverpool is undergoing some major spring cleaning. I think its a good move by the owner to flush out underperforming staff, not just blaming on the manager and the players. Unlike a certain Russian billionaire, identifying in depth what the cause of the rot and circumvent the problem as a short term goal and then lay out a long term plan for the coming season, is the way to go.

Simply firing your manager on a yearly basis and horde the market with worthless purchases while keeping your old lions isn't exactly radiating brilliance as an owner.

Liverpool may be a wreck, but its not total loss for them. I genuinely believe they will rebound next season stronger and with a resounding plan for their current manager and the team.

You guys think any Liverpool player worth buying next season?icon_idea.gif

but i like stewart downing since his days at boro & villa. And we currently lack natural-left footed offensive player
on the team.

Yup, thats Carl Jenkinson.

QUOTE
Carl Jenkinson’s Dad was so happy to see his son become a Gunner that he threw him a surprise party.

The 20 year-old has never made a secret of his lifelong love for the Club, passed down to him by father Steve – but he couldn’t have imagined what he would come home to shortly after putting pen to paper on his first Arsenal contract last summer

“When Robin saw those photos of my old bedroom he said ‘have you got a picture of me on your wall?’ so I will probably take a lot of stick for this!”

No for any of the Reds players.
Doubt they come cheap.

Thee, hee. I was merely throwing a bait for trollers on Friday 13th. No harm done. Arsenal fans and Liverpools fans are matured enough to speak their minds on opposing team players.
I think its a resounding no to my suggestions that any Liverpool worth to be brought into Arsenal. Currently, I don't see the need nor the urge to buy Liverpool players. Most our department are sufficient with upcoming reserved players coming into terms with playing for the first team as well as rumors of Podolski arriving in the summer. I'd say Arsenal is in good hands at the moment. Though should a Liverpool player be considered, I'm all up for Kuyt. What's better than having two Orange teammates in the team? I have such great respect for his work rate and passion.

kuyt is too old to be arsenal first teamer, too old to be arsenal substitute. how he wanna compare with those forwards in arsenal? speed wise, he lost to walcott, ox. technical wise he lost to rosicky, wilshere, gervinho. work rate he is more or less equal to gervinho, ox, walcott. goal scoring wise... ox play twice fewer match than him but scoring same amount of goal as him. compare kuyt with chamakh and park? for bench players i still prefer young ones.

having said that. I would welcome him anytime if it was 7 years ago.

if kuyt is to come to us. he can be one of the forward sub-coach.
