Sorry to hear that mate.

Keep your protein high and, calories just slightly above your maintenance. Posing (in front mirror, if there is one) would be good as well.

OH ya, if you are cutting down fat from food, then do take fish oil.

Take care and wish you recover swiftly.

The supplier address on the box is Smart Life, here is their address.
25,JLN MERANTI JAYA 8 ,TMN MERANTI JAYA INDUSTRIAL PARK.PUCHONG
Yeah, good local supplier. They have their own range of machine as well. Very competitively price. Their weight ranges from RM5-6/kg

If you anyone wants to visit their store, they have one at Bandar Puteri, Puchong, Giant.

BTW, I have no connection with them...

Here is a good video for those who are trying to hit the top 3s

There is no right or wrong, it depends on you how you want to mix them.

Just to share, the way I do it is, to push (like powerlifters) during lower weights on upwards motion and go slow on downwards motion.

As I increase the weights, I go slow on both motions. You can create your own hybrid.

It was the additional calories from the milk, and not the protein content alone, that helped you gain weight.

Guys are you aware of any bodybuilding guide for seniors?

how old is this senior? rclxub.gif

pretty much as in how a beginner starts; it doesnt differ much, go slow on weights, and add on as you progress; watch the joints and take higher calcium and zinc.

fish oils and glucosamine too  biggrin.gif

fish oil; yup...glucosamine nah..,.its over rated. glucosamine is precursor for glycosaminoglycans; which in return is a component in cartilage. Unless you have cartilage ware from fast moving sports or cartilage injury, its really not needed. Even with injuries; studies had been controversial.

i confirmed is not the joint, is the bottom muscle near to the elbow pain. I guess i go too intense on past week, same day have workout and night go play badminton with heavy + wrong method of smashes.

hmm... i still like workout and badmintons, need to be extra careful when doing both exercises.
*
most likely its tennis elbow; ice + rest.....workout again; ice + rest....

one gets tennis elbow, mostly due to overuse; not warming up, and wear/tear; very small group gets it due to wrong method. those who are prone to get it are racket players (badminton, tennis, golf, etc).

I have seen, many gets it, when they start to use wrist play.

start the strengthening exercise as well. you may google for general recovery exercise for tennis elbow, or tyler twist.

all the best.

any comment?

Ok, tq. Actually, i still dont know which progamme is suitable to me. I need some guideline.

Any you already know, there are so many programs, there is no right or wrong program,, just take one ans start with it, as you train (learn), you would also learn to tweak it to your schedule and body responses. Hence dont try to crack your head to much in choosing, just get it going.

If you are still confused, just look at the journal section; many of us had posted, if you dig back deeper, you could find, DL's as well.

I dont think we are here at a liberty to give you a program, becoz all of us have different perception and understanding; whats important is you are consistent in working out, your diet in check, rest, and rest as well (cant emphasis more on this).

personally, I wont recommend to immediately start with protein supplement and its like, just check you macros and food intake and meet your required calories. Once you are in your 6th month to a year, then consider supplements, most likely by then you are more sound into body building.

cheers.

PS: after thought; if you still at loss, then follow this, if you need strength; take mike's program, if you need muscle, take Dan's
