Hi guys, its been a long time since I posted here. I've been training 2-3 times a week on SS for 6 months now.

Progress:
SQ: 50kg->110kg
BP: 30-> 60kg
OHP: 10->25kg
DL: 50->125kg
Pendlay: 25->55kg

I mostly concern about my OHP. I tried tightening my glutes but my shoulder are just not that strong. Also my pendlay just suck. Any advice?

Btw, do any of you guys got warn by a gym staff that you make noise too much in the gym? I tried to control my bar and Im pretty sure Im very very sure I did not smashing it down. The deadlift area have padding and Im far away from most people there. Is it because in most gym no one ever do deadlift?

Lol, different advise i was getting from. Anyway i decided to add complex carb in my diet, at least maintain my calories or bulk up 1st. Shadowz enlighten me that i not really need to cut yet. Yes, i feel my muscles mass was loss about 20% ... I believe i can bulk and cut later too. I trying and experience myself 1st. :-)

By the way, here i have a question, which the answer may vary..

It is ok to take oat with whey before bed time? As i know oat is low GI carb. May it help into prevent muscles catabolism? I research, but different info different answer...

complex or not complex, GI high or not, yes, there is a different, but not much, just consume enough protein and make sure not too low on fat, the rest of your calorie u can fill in anything u want, more carbs, or fats, or protein, u like biggrin.gif

basically the first few month of lifting i care to much about diet, ended up im too stressed cause need to eat those so call 'healthy' food. imo just lift heavy, get enough protein, fill the rest with what kind of carbs or fats u want laugh.gif

guys is it good to do some calisthenics exercise on off days

now i work out about 4 days a week and in between the rest days i felt really boring.... but i do not wanna waste my time playing computer games (im a university student so i have plenty of free time LOL) so is it good that instead i spend the time doing some push ups or crunches or other exercise for muscle endurance... my workout routines are doing as heavy weight as possible for 4~6 reps... so my muscle endurance pretty sucks

well i know im suppose to let the muscles rest and recover on rest days but im just really too free

so i think it cant hurt to do a few bodyweight squats or push ups or crunches on off days right?

Go ahead. No harm with it. Do some cardio instead? Or sports?

Im usually so gassed out that I literally do nothing on my rest days. Youth certainly has its advantages lol

then dont do chest.
here's the thing, recovery is as important as the workout. no point stressing it out again giving it less chance to recover.

You can but you had to keep in mind. Most people (even me) put so much effort on the workout but they neglect the nutrition part. The nutrition is the most important aspect that would determine whether you had a good progress or not. Best if you keep your nutrition as main priority (this applied to me aswell  tongue.gif ). Goodluck  smile.gif

i got not much fund as pocket money hmm.gif very hard to eat high protein.. usually only getting about 80g on rest day and maybe 130g on workout days

the rest i fill them randomly with carbs or fats hmm.gif

Some people would say that you need at least 1g per 1lbs bodyweight. Some people say more, some people say it should be lower.
