@Jim Tan,
It is my understanding that Mazda uses queuing system, let me know if there's a way to ensure getting a unit from the first 200 cars.

Booked a Metro Gray 2WD. This color should be quicker to fulfill. The current top booking color seems to be Blue, following White. People must have watched too much commercial

Unable to decide on the color to purchased. Booked a Metro gray but having second thought because metro gray is bluish gray. White is a dirt magnet. Silver is classy but at the same time boring. Wished Liquid Silver Metallic was available with the car.
White, Silver, Gray (been going back and forth with the colors) |

On mazda3, white and liquid silver are awesome colors. On the CX-5, I've seen numerous pictures and videos yet I cannot decide what color to get
White is nice but black streaks would bother me. Previous car was silver and after 5 years with the clearcoat almost worn off, the car looks very dull (true to all colors though). Gray was supposed to be the color but god know why they didn't have graphite but have metrogray instead. It has a bluish hue on it. Black would be the best color for this car but clearly mazda malaysia cannot move the black cars in msia. Does anybody know if we can get 3M Clearbra for CX5 in Msia? |

@curaptz
Thanks for the pictures Somehow White, Silver, and Blue looks good. The Gray looks really dull The Silver looks particularly good with the silver rim. White with black and gray on black would look hot. Blue is nice but eh, not ready to commit to a "color" yet. |

Going to see it in person tomorrow. Whoever wanna meet Cyntrix Tech's boss come find me there
By the way is this like those Amsterdam prostitute show house? Can see cannot touch? Or can we get in the car? Another question, the paint has heavy clearcoat like CBU MPS correct? Not the crappy local paint that's on all CKD Mazda? This post has been edited by CyntrixTech: Apr 20 2012, 04:36 PM |

Undecided between white and silver. Very worried about prominent black streaks on white car. Both of these colors will have black "scars" when scratched.
Choosing the car is easy, paying for it not too hard, picking the color is freaking hard! |

I'm probably getting an aluminium one. Seen a lot of videos of the car on the road, I think white masks too much details especially the wavy lines at the side of the car. If one were to start modding it, changing rims, and what not, white would be a nicer canvas.
Is anybody going to do paint protection as soon as they get the car? I've asked if anybody knows where to get 3M Clearbra done but nobody seems to know. |

Tested the car. Extremely good vehicle. Very low noise, much better than Mazda 3.
One thing that I noticed was that the navigation stick is not available in Malaysia's model? |

Better noise insulation than the Mazda 3. The Mazda 3 is still a more fun car to drive. The CX-5 is tuned to drive like an econobox as per all reviews on the net. Perhaps after market ECU remap will make it a real zoom zoom

The steering is not all that light. It's definitely not as great as the Mazda 3 or any hydraulic steering's feel if you are used to them. Compared to older electric steering, it's one of the best.

Tested a 2 months old 300KM CX-5 Today (not in Malaysia). The ECU is primed and engine broken in. The power delivery is more natural and the car downshifts when you want it to. I noticed that all the brand new test drives in Malaysia current drive like an econobox.
My loan has been approved, 2.43% for 9 yrs with 20% down. Waiting for CIMB Preferred to give me their rates. Did anybody get a better rate and from which bank did you get it? |

QUOTE(hnr2802 @ May 22 2012, 11:59 PM) where you saw it? i also wanted 1 of those.. ask bermaz but they doesnt know if they will bring extra accessories for the cx-5 I saw it in Canada. The tray comes standard with their GT model (our only trim). The price there was CAD100+, about Rm 330. However, this an be easily found in USA for around 50 USD. I'll check with Bermaz if they will or can order it in, if not, I can organize a group buy for the tray, shipped via sea freight from US.Added on May 23, 2012, 12:02 am i think i agreed with the a bit sluggish part. dont know if it is underpowered or the pedal are design to not accelerate accordingly. have to ram the throttle a bit to overtake. btw just got mine today |

Queue jumper? Mazda doesn't allow this sort of practice. You must have a booking. My booking was in April.

The queuing system only really comes into place for people with the LOU/Cash ready. Otherwise, it doesn't really do anything. Dealer/branch will still release the car to whoever with the LOU/Cash ready.
Regardless, I've decided to go with Llumar T4-50 + 3M HP front/rear. Looking for the best price now |
