DEFECTS! DEFECTS! DEFECTS! DEFECTS! DEFECTS!
Had to say it 5 times because my 2012 October Batch CX-5 with less than 2000 KM has about 5 defects.

#1 - Dashboard rattle - Missing Foam
#2 - Front Suspension Creak/Squeak when going through bumps - During rainy day
#3 - Driver side flapping noise (could be passenger as well but since I'm the driver, I can only hear my side)
#4 - Rattling/Vibrating noise from Center Dome light - Probably loose wires/unpadded wires hitting the roof
#5 - Rattling/Vibrating noise from Front Passenger Side - have not determined, could be glove box. NOT! glove box content.

Other notable Problems:
#1 - The flap securing the leather wrapping on the font seat can come undone. Put your hand under the seat to find about 3 flaps which are folded over the seat to secure the wrapping down
#2 - Loose rear light access trim cover - May rattle depending on conditions, ask passengers to verify

Have you send it back to a Mazda service centre for a complete diagnosis? I would recommend sending it back for a thorough check.

First time sent to Mazda Glenmarie, they spent 4 hours to open two front speaker grills and scratched my steering center hub cover which I am still waiting for a resolution. A service maintenance is scheduled for the center rattle problem.

I'll take videos and post them up for reference. Only in Malaysia you have to wait 6 months for a vehicle, at inflated price, and no chance to test drive the vehicle before taking delivery.
