hey guys, just got back from the showroom. rear seats are kinda small sad.gif
ride is well insulated from road and engine noise. gearshifts are super smooth however the moment u hit accelerator pedal to getting engine response is kinda laggy. is it just me? im kinda heavy footed btw.

read a lot of reviews praising the rear seat spaciousness. May be your expectation is too high after reading the reviews smile.gif
anyway, this is just a compact suv.

The laggy feel makes mazda gained another awards:

I just got my Pearl White CX-5 yesterday ! Excellent and my Car salesman (Bermaz PJ) is excellent as well.

Very happy and great experience (although anything is better than my 2002 Wira 1.3). I booked in April.

Looks like you are ahead of me. Booked in Feb but only getting next week Tues. But then since my wife will be driving it, I can wait. LOL

actually it is not CVT
skyactiv transmision = AT + CVT + Dual clutch
so it diffrent from other transmision.

im cvt driver for 5 years d. lol.
in terms of smoothness, cx-5 gives me the exact feeling my cvt box gives. however, as i said earlier, input to output is not direct. but it doesnt bother me from booking a unit for myself biggrin.gif

Somebody commented on the engine noise in Paul Tan's. You can check it out below.

Think its normal especially in cold start...when after 1-2minute warmup during idle rpm drop below 8k it will back to normal and silence.

Guys, I drove my CX-5 to Kuala Lipis and back.
Overall driving is good and I'm happy with it. Pick-up...can be a bit sluggish when I get stuck behind a truck and want to overtake.
Driving up Karak require to rev a bit but still ok for me.

On the TT..let's do 1 smile.gif
