ownership of new car for a day...2.5 cx-5. car has a different gearshifter in comparison to the older models, similar to those found in mazda japan's cx5 website. car does not have heated seats, not a big deal, less potential problems.

bose speakers are awesome, ckd owners who didnt get the bose stop comforting yourself that it makes no difference haha. sunroof is nice, airy feeling to cabin at night. i-stop stop/start system works better than the one's you find on bmw's. power delivery is significantly better than those on the 2.0. handling sharp for a car like this. build quality feels better, imo. all in all, worth the extra 20k from a ckd version which i initially ordered.

what could be better? maybe some paddle shifters....even the biante gets some sort of steering wheel shifter...

still learning a lot about the car....didnt buy it from any regular mazda dealership so my customer experience would be quite self discovery.

i did try BOSE speaker system when test drive last time.. seriously its not much different compare normal one.. using same cd song.. but its better with BOSE of course.. i thought last time i can get CBU model, end up with CKD as CBU stock finish really fast.. summore no coating.. huhu

Dear owners, may i know if u feel that these car will be underpowered if carry around 4-5 passenger? Esp going to places like Genting? Or its just a typical 2.0 litre good enough to move around.

Hi,

Just curious what is the behaviour of the tailgate when driving?
While I was initiating "D" mode to drive, notice that tailgate is able to open (if not lock the doors). But according to the instruction manual, I shall only be able to open when cars on "P" only.

Anyone notice the same?

Thanks.

depends how you look at it. If you were driving a Forester STI/Cayenne Turbo, yes. If you were driving a CR-V, RAV4...then no.

Is it stable when you reach your top speed speed?

Hmm.. Just check with another car in service center, seems the same as in if door unlock tailgate able to open. The service center claim that is normal.

What is your batch? or do you have auto-lock add-on?

Thanks.
