Star Wars Battlefront is an upcoming action first- and third-person shooter video game based on the Star Wars franchise. The third major release in the Star Wars: Battlefront series, it is being developed by EA DICE and will be published by Electronic Arts. Probably not gonna preorder this seeing as it's from EA. Gonna wait for the reviews as much as a fan I am of Star Wars and the previous battlefront game.

look like this game going to be end up like titan fall short content from the 1st release and milk everyone another $60 ++ for every dlc.

no campaign no space battles ( but EA only they wont launch space battle for now) which we all know it come out as DLC like battlefield...that mean every 3 to 4 months 1 DLC...

Agree but still Battlefront as of now would be much in the next-gen graphic so some stuffs may be shrinked down. Will see how good it fares soon enough.

Tried the beta. Honestly, I didn't liked it and it felt more like a battlefield game than a star wars game. The only thing I liked was Drop Zone because it was really fast paced.

Even thought it is just the beta but it didn't really grabbed my attention

I'm gonna to put my money and say SW: Battlefront 3 is gonna crash and burn hard, far worst than Battlefield 4.

The game is far from complete and it shows (e.g. no singaplayer campaign). EA and Dice is rushing the game's release just to coincide with The Force Awakens movie.

thought they declared long ago no SP campaign? but yeah i agree, not going to give EA anymore money.

Besides the OP Imperial side on Walker Assault, I find it really awesome as it was smooth, lag-free (From both ends of my internet ping and graphics) and it felt like I was playing a role just like in the movies!!! After countless of Rebel side losses, my team Managed to get at least a clutch victory on the Rebel side by focusing fire on the last ATAT before it destroys our base...Really enjoyed it and gonna put some money on Pre-ordering it!!

Yes I won once on the walker 20v20. The big problem is people don't care about objectives... They only think everything is death match kinda game which is stupid.

Yes there was one match where I got like 2 chance getting inside the AT-AT it was awesome, managed to get like 40+ kill in that game.

I've ride the big AT-AT walker a few times, Tie fighter, y-wing, x-wing and also the small AT-ST.

played the beta over 10++ hours non-stop.

dunno its my ping problem or not but i feel weird with my pew pew gun. Playing dropship is a okay game, but after a couple of rounds it gets bored pretty fast.

in hotj map, once u know where the power-up is, u basically camp there and wait for it to spawn. Once i saw 3-4 people waiting for the imperial AT-ST to spawn or AT-AT power up.

If i see a hero power and AT-ST power-up, i would choose AT-ST, because of the fire power. Even the game full release, u know how many people with rocket once u see luke/vader in the battlefield? everyone will launch rocketlauncher and they die within 3 secs. At least with AT-ST, i can snipe near a mountain while the rocker hit the mountain and wait for my team to push up. If i am using heroes, there is a timer, no choice but to move forward and gets hit in the face.

IMO, i think the map design is horrible, even they change the spawn point, it's still a problem.

Once I got like over 50+kill in imperial then switch side on rebel, trying to push up, gets snipe and get swarmed by dozens of imperial troops from the ground and the air.

the power up is a terrible idea, makes me to boost jump to take the power up while seeing 4-5 enemy in front of me, while trying to find cover in hoth.... and we know there is no cover in hoth.

I hate the idea of power ups...

This game is too bland, nothing special except for using Star Wars IP. That's it, not worth of money to pre-order.

Personal opinion I think they should remove 3rd person view for normal players and only allow it for heroes... this will make the game more realistic.. because 3rd person is generally more superior and easier to play than 1st person.. and this kinda defeats the purpose of redefining battlefront as a genuine 1st person shooter game like battlefield or COD or planetside 2.

You can change the camera angle by holding C button. People said its easy to play with 3rd person because you will have wider angle of view but it depends on your preferences.

this what happens to me after that update

i have insane fps.
if i use gsync without vsync (driver disable vsync as well ingame).. my cards run 99%
jetpack is goes bonkers.

If i use gsync with vsync (driver enabled so capped at 144...).. both cards all run at 50-60% 100fps...
jetpack is totally fine but loose the fluidity i enjoyed before.

just a normal monitor with vsync on.

everytime i use jetpack it become hectic...
its like as if im doing goku instant transmission lol...
but going forth and back multiple times in short time and the landing is not where i want and always an unexpected landing place.

that one is just for 4 expansion packs...not including main game

I can attest to that, seems like they fine-tuned the Frostbite engine further.

I'm running at 4K and on High settings with low AA, the graphics are probably one of the best around, texture-wise.

Too bad in motion it still reeks of Battlefield 4.

How's the multiplayer latency?

Already looked into all the modes, gameplay and even played the full game.
Someone got their copy 2 days earlier than the release date.
The lack of modes and not having any real campaign is kinda a big deal for me.
But overall still fun to play. The lasting appeal might not last long though.
Graphic and sound design is great, just that some stuff is lacking..crucial stuff.

After playing alot of cod.. Battlefront is like slow mo..but atleast get to see the awesome graphics..

Eh it was working just now when i was on hmm another country goverment vpn. Now i am off it.. Telling me to wait for he realeas date.

The longer you play, the longer you'll feel that this game is actually grindfest if u wan to unlock every goodies. yup..just keep playing and do the same thing all over again.. for a star wars game, sure is a eye candy and pure fan service game. but it still a half baked game IMO. Best time to get the game is when the ultimate edition price drop to the same level as the standard game atm cause sure is a scam when there's only that few maps available (4 map for conquest..really?)
