Read a few had try out the N.E.A.K 2.0.2x kernel and it seem to have better battery life then stock netchip kernel on hydrog3n.... On thing i notice i will get very hot after half and hour using mobile data with netchip kernel yesterday and battery is killing too...
*
Got good battery life with NEAK before but now with Siyah rc6 I can say that is much much better. Hoping for good things with v3.1

I'm living in KL so concern would be this area, PJ and occasionally SJ.

Still a student so around RM5X would be max for me...inclusive of calls and sms.

My current plan...Maxis Value Plus Internet 50(100min call, 100sms) for RM50/month has a mediocre 250MB data/month only. Really kennot tahan. So I only need to add RM8 for the Celcom Exec 20+ M.broadband lite RM38/month to have a lot more internet data.

What do you guys think? hmm.gif
*
can try u mobile prepaid (unlimited mobile internet package), for rm28 per month you get 100 minute call, 30 sms and 500mb data

Might be placebo but felt that NEAK and v3.0.1 is smother then the rc series. That's why still hoping for something more on v3.1

Yeah 3.1 RC swiping smoothness is not there. Waiting for gokhan to make this adjustable so everyone can be satisfied.

Hmm somehow felt 3.1 series not as smooth also, especially swiping smoothness. Will see what he does in 3.1 full release and consider neak

@pikachu, what kinda tweaks? smile.gif I've changed to "performance profile", and from there only thing I changed was suspend freq to 500mhz, i/o scheduler to sio. And usual UVs

Installing ThunderBolt! is the first thing tongue.gif

Other than that, using SIO and smartassV2 (ThunderBolt!'s setting).

One thing to note is that undervolting too much GPU sometimes produces stutters (be careful of this). I only undervolted the 160MHz to 850mV.

My GPU is default voltage currently. Think the whole GPU tweaks thing is still broken as well right for frequencies.

Hmm smartass huh, maybe I'll give that a go. Better than ondemand?

Edit: Well this one is just too much 18 CPU steps from 25 mhz to 1600 mhz doh.gif doh.gif But plus side is that it got the smoother scrolling.

More frequencies equals smoother scrolling ke? unsure.gif

Or you mean the kernel, not to do with the steps. I see you're trying it, let us know as you continue test what else you notice k tongue.gif

Edit : Wah based on siyah with changes from neak and thoravukk? shocking.gif

Gave up oredi. The only "toggles" that I miss that hydrogenics doesn't have is the "password toggle" and "temporary long screen time toggle"

I just solve both with tasker tongue.gif
