Hi all, would like to get opinion for this setup
My ride: myvi 2012 Se
Prefers SQ/SPL/SQL: SQL
File format/medium used for my source: usb or Bluetooth (Spotify)
Music genre: jazz
Rate this setup maybe?
Amp : Kenwood KAC PS704EX (70RMS X 4)
Front : Hertz DSK 165.3 (80W RMS)
Rear : Hertz ECX 165.5 (70W RMS)
HU :android 2 GB + 16Gb (nothing fancy)
DSP : Audxeon D1600 6 channel DSP
Will do custom fibreglass casing for front 6.5" speaker + run new wires from amp to each speaker with tweeter to occupy space from current 4" slot on dashboard + soundproof (door panel, flooring, roof, wheel arch, car boot)
Is it ok or can I go for another brand for speakers? Generally looking into using something compatible with the amp since bought already haha.
Do you really need the rear fill? Since you’ve already bought the amp you could also run your front stage active to utilize the DSP and add an active subwoofer. Hertz does produce good sounding speakers so no worries there. Just my 2 cents. My ride: myvi 2012 Se
