QUOTE(ToiletMaster @ Nov 21 2014, 11:16 PM) - My ride: Myvi SE 2014 1.3 (the one handbrake on dashboard) i think for ur budget, get a good 4" coaxial and an active sub will be good...- Prefers SQ/SPL/SQL: SQL? (not sure if i got the definition right, will head down requirements later) - File format/medium used for my source: TuneInRadio Bluetooth - Music genre: Anime Song / Current Year Music / Sometimes Lite FM - Budget: RM1000 - Setup type preferences: Not sure what preference currently, more details given below. - Other requirements (if any): I have to say i;m not a big expert on cars, i'm not too sure what i should take note of actually. Currently in my house, my desktop speaker is using Edifier HCS 2330, i really love the clarity of the audio, however if the bass could be pumped up slightly higher it'll be great. I definitely prefer having a great bass for the car as when i go to work and jam, at least I'll be happy about my audio. Currently my audio is acceptable, but the bass is nowhere to be seen which makes the song a whole lot worse. My car is still under warranty, Is it possible to upgrade the speakers without voiding any other warranty for Perodua Myvi? *Concerned driver here* other than that, i dont have much preference on the brand aside from having a great beat and clarity. Normally i just use my phone and bluetooth the entire thing to my radio and play the online radio while driving. *Currently using HTC One M7 if it matters* Cheers! if u plan for future upgrade, then now u can get a decent component + install.....later on add in amp and sub... |

QUOTE(ButterMeLuvHer @ Nov 26 2014, 12:16 AM) Hii a lot of people think that those oem upgrade spk from japan is good..but just fyi, those item are free upgrade if u buy car from japan...so do u think something free will be good? maybe u can get half cut spk at half cut shop for 2-300..but again, dun compare new speaker than installed in ur fren's car for that price....you gonna regret..My ride : vios 2014 Prefer : SQ but with a litlle bass boom boom also nice File format : cd , usb , iphone Music genre : still rocking 90's Bajet : 1.5k - 3k Other : remain HU as my car still new. Thinking to change the component set 1st for the front. R carrozzeria component set is worth to buy? since ur budget is quite healthy, you should get something better...and flexible to upgrade to..... |

QUOTE(izso @ Jan 21 2015, 07:09 AM) Actually, very recently I just heard an Eton component set powered by a cheap Crunch amp together with a MBQuartz underseat woofer in a Toyota Chaser, I was very impressed with the bass, sounded like the system had a small 10" subwoofer + sealed box. Way better than the Rogers underseat woofer I have in my Myvi. I think the new underseat woofers these days are way better than the old ones we used to have. seems like ur mind is opened These days sound systems isn't about the branding anymore, even the cheap and cheerful ones sound good. |

sometimes people are relying too much on the sub and make it wonder by playing the frequency that should be produce by the mid bass.....thus, no matter what sub, it will be crap....

QUOTE(izso @ Feb 4 2015, 02:47 PM) My mind was always opened la. The only problem is even though the Eton setup sounds good, it's not good enough for my ears yes, that's the problem, you expect a simple setup to perform as the "better" setup you heard I've heard better. That's the problem. |

QUOTE(coklatua @ Feb 7 2015, 07:59 AM) - My ride: new Axia Standard E model. 2k can get u a hu with bt, a component for front, 2 door soundproof and an active sub..- Prefers SQ/SPL/SQL: SQL - File format/medium used for my source: Mp3, USB, optional CD. - Music genre: Accoustic Electric like Coldplay, Pop like Lorde. I want a balanced system without compromised the bass. Also prefer system that have a good soundstage. - Budget: 2k max - Setup type preferences: need a complete setup like HU, Amp, speaker, sub. - Other requirements (if any): must have Bluetooth. Hi, firstly I'm a total noob about car and Car Audio System. So basically I want a Bluetooth feature in a car but if want that, I need to buy the SE version of the car that is over my budget already. So I'm thinking to myself why not buy the basic version of the car and built the audio system from start. It is advisable for me to do that or just buy the Standard G version that comes with audio system and just upgrade it from there? I just need an audio system that is better than most of stock audio system. Please help. |

buddy 6s come with inline crossover and new model come with boxed crossover...
inline crossover is to reduce the cost, and some speaker do not need the lowpass on the mid as it's nature cut offed.. u wont need another crossover / active/ hu crossover to use with these component. just pnp. |
