Honda hybrid 2018 model. Any plug and play dsp that power a subwoofer like Helix Audiotec-fischer? No need cut wire, improve speaker sound and able to put in a helix subwoofer

Any idea where to get?
*
the helix sub are designed to match with their own dsp.You can mod the wiring and connect it to other DSP of course but i would think of a dsp-amp with like 1-2k RM match with a helix sub for 1k over...dont think it make much logic to match a slightly more premium sub with a cheaper dsp.

get a dsp-amp with a proper amplified underseat sub should give u better results.

Hi All,

Would like to know if a car stereo bought from US will have any compatibility issues such as voltage, cabling...and etc with our local cars?

Reason I'm asking is I found a unit in amazon where the costs(inc shipping and custom charges) is still 30% cheaper than buying locally.

Thanks.

radio issue
if touch screen, no video when driving

dun because of some difference kill the local market, if your unit got problem later ur investment = 100% gone

Hi Sifus,

I'm looking to upgrade the speaker of my Honda City.

Would like to hear some advice or recommendation from all the sifu here, below are some of the details:

My Ride: 2014 Honda City V-Spec
Prefer SQ/SPL/SQL: SQL
File format/medium used in your source: Spotify Premium
Music Genre: Mostly pop
Setup type preferences: As a start, looking for speaker upgrade
Other requirements (if any): Would like to retain the stock HU
*
theres many in market which are compatible as using 6.5" component for city. but if you just need speaker but do not plan to upgrade other things, then u need to really choose a suitable 1. most of the aftermarket speaker are not 100% oem friendly (in terms of power and technical design)... even those so called oem fit are not all sound nice with oem system, they just fit into the location more easily only.

Haha.. Send u some poison...

This customer has been using a Pnp dsp but got the wrong matching. Previously was done with a 90w spk matched with 55w dsp.. Of course the output is really terrible.

Front : Morel ( Maximo / Maximus / Ultra Tempo ) haven't decide which is better.
Rear :  Keep Original Speaker
HU :Keep Original
DSP : Haven't decide.

Thank you in advance for your info and advice.

it should be tempo ultra.

if you match with a proper amplified dsp, then of course the tempo ultra sound better among the list.

- [b]Other requirements (if any): my car is 1 year old, so will it void my warranty if i change HU or speakers?

I find the original speaker is not clear enough, so would like to upgrade them. I read many are saying changing HU is more effective for that purpose.
I'm sorry I really have no idea pls advice.
I dont need to watch movie, just display my song name would be sufficient.

get some clarity and some low extension will be good for your current setup. Not really recommended headunit upgrade for current stage

increase your system spectrum for extra high and low freq will solve your issue.

How to do this?
Currently my stock HU only can adjust bass-mid-treble ( any idea whats the ideal level for this 3 ?)
I have already added 2inch Full range speaker on dash and underseat sub.
My song preference will be mostly acoustic and oldies too.
*
you already done the hardware to increase it. As for how good it can, it depend on your hardware ability.

Hi, im new here. Hopefully i didn't ask in the wrong section. I need your advice if the item is good or not. Im eye-ing for Nakamichi NAM1700, Nakamichi NA3101i and Blaupunkt San Marino 510. My budget is very limited, so I only able to find these three models within my price range. I try to search for review/rating/comment for all of these but no luck. So i dont know these product sucks or good. So if anyone have experienced with these models and how long have you use it? Im really appreciated it if anyone can give a advice or recommendation to a better player.

- My ride: Axia 2017 G Spec
- Prefers SQ/SPL/SQL: Any
- File format/medium used for my source: Bluetooth from my android
- Music genre: Any/Mix
- Budget: Prefer below RM350. I may max my budget up to RM500 if there is a better option.
- Setup type preferences:  Im sorry, not sure.
- Other requirements (if any): 2 way control android. Long lasting and not lag. My previous HU is an android unit and laggish. So these time I want to find non-android. Also fm signal very clear in malaysia(Optional).

My car all speaker are already tears and crackling. I'm also planning on buy a new set of speaker. I read online that said the speaker RMS must close to player RMS. So i guess i need to find which player Im gonna buy before survey for a new speaker. My currently speaker wishlist is JVC CS-DF620(recommend by some seller that said suitable with Nakamichi NAM1700). Budget is below RM150 for 4pcs.
