if u dun have a good hu to start with, suggest u to get 1 first...if u already got a quite ok hu, then start with spk first....
choose and audit the speaker and compare side by side...then u will know which 1 to go for

your amplifier is powering the front spk or rear spk or all spk?

in your situation, the best way is to change a component for front and use the amp to power the front.....................

dun look at the price and let the high price influence ur mind...listen to the sound will be more practical..if really like it, 10k also u will buy..if dun like it, made from gold also meaningless to u...

surround only happen if installed with surround processor and having multiple channel amplifier to amplify each spk since all surround processor doesn't included amplifier. If there's no surround processing, the whole car will be only in stereo. so no matter watever front and back surround is only because of the time that the sound goes to your ears and the echo from the car cabin. Using time alignment maybe can solve the problem but it's better to avoid the problem first before finding the way to cure it.
