Flyaudio isn't too bad. They make touchscreens that can replace the VW system and make it look OEM except with a helluva lot more features
*
a lot brand can do that, but the reliability is the issues :>

- My ride: Toyota Corolla SEG
- Prefers SQ/SPL/SQL: No idea
- File format/medium used for my source: MP3/FLAC(not sure possible or not) through USB, MP3 player through auxiliary in
- Music genre: Pop
- Budget: Around RM200 or cheapest option for my requirements
- Setup type preferences: No idea
- Other requirements (if any): USB with MP3 playback capability, auxiliary in, support Unicode(Chinese specifically)

Actually I only want to buy the head unit so that I can reuse my original speaker.

if u dun use cd, and u can top up to near 300, you can get those unit come with usb/aux in/tuner without cd loader..

- Prefers SQ/SPL/SQL: SQ
- File format/medium used for my source: CD, mp3 via USB and BT
- Music genre: jazz, rock, pop including k pop
- Budget: under RM2k per upgrade

Dear Sifus
I'm "new" to this ICE thingy and am contemplating of the following :-
1) changing my front speakers to Domination RS61 components  (and probably move my existing Phoenix Gold co-axials from front to rear doors; or maybe even leaving them out completely)
2) changing my HU (those with TA, EQ, etc). Haven't decided on the model yet, but preferably Clarion as the existing HU is a Clarion.
3) probably adding a 4-ch amp for front component
4) probably adding a 12in ported SW later (No loud boom boom please)

Can any sifu please advise if this is the correct direction to take? Or some other order; e.g. 1, 4, 3, 2? I'd rather spend less than RM2k for each upgrade, up to a maximum of RM6k, maybe stretch to RM7k for the total 'project'?

Are the RS61 any good?

Thank you for your advise.

direct listen to instrument without going thru amplifier or watever is analog. synthesizer and e.guitar are playing thru amplifier and converter to generate the sound..so it's digital...
most analog system i heard is not really analog....a drum that make the whole car shake like you are inside the band are not called analog....no sound engineer make the cd sounds like you are inside the band, they only make the band right in front of you. This is stereo. not applicable to surround system.
