Ic2.. Actually my budget is 2k.. now push to 3k (exclude HU). So each item average around 800++. At 1st, I saw those 800++ for everything in forum. (Components, Sub, n Amp). Not sure how it sounds. From Ampang bro...
Wow.. that's a pretty comfortable budget. A good 100W RMS output amp and a set of dynaudio (2nd hand) speakers would fit your budget nicely. Probably can squeeze in a 2nd hand sub. JL W0 perhaps. The difference in how a $800 setup sounds vs a $3000 sounds is how well the tuner tunes the setup. If the RM3000 tuner is good, it'll beat the socks off the RM800 setup regardless of how well it's tuned.

Wondering,
Other than Speaker cables, what other cables are needed?
RCA? (got difference between Subs and Speakers right?)
Speaker wires, RCAs and even power cables is a subjective topic. Some say changing to different ones will have a difference some say not. But the obvious difference is comparing the cheapass RM15 RCA with a RM350 RCA. You'll definitely hear a difference assuming you don't have any hearing problems. Same goes for the speaker cables. Try comparing a RM400 cable with a RM600 cable - that's when it becomes subjective. Personally I love the Phoenix Gold Zero RCA and the thickass VanDenHul speaker cables both with silver tip paste on it and silver soldered connectors. But that's just bloody extreme and bloody expensive to justify the sound.Other than Speaker cables, what other cables are needed?

How good a power cable is does make a difference. A properly powered up setup will perform better than one that has fluctuating or poorly grounded/powered setup.
