Will the Pioneer PRS-D4100F be good enough to run 2x Morel Tempo?

new saga flx owner here,

i was thinking of moving my stock rear speakers to the front and add better components. also will be changing the stock clarion HU to my old alpine CDE121. not adding a sub for the moment.

1. do i need to add an amp as well?
2. what's the speaker sizes for both front & rear?

i think better leave the rear speaker first...buy a new spk and install at front...then install the hu u already have..

Current setup: a pair of component speakers at front doors. don't know what brand but its not stock.

Pioneer head unit. All basic.

Back speakers are apparently bass speakers but lembap and cracking and also, makes the roof vibrate.

I dont play neither SQ nor SPL, my HU is just an ordinary Kenwood CD/MP3 support, i dont have amp too

My budget is < RM500, and sound more perfect if can make it under RM400

1) ya sure why not
may not properly power the component sets though since kenwood HU's are nothing to shout about and you're going install yet another component set to run off it.

2) look in used reputable brand component sets from automotive garage would be your best solution

3) JBL so-so when it comes to component sets, they are more known for their home hi-fi or subs/amps

it is hard to wait for a 2nd hand speaker which is in good condition and fits me well.
i thought 2 way component comes with 2 tweeter, 2 midbass and a crossover.

i suppose the gt6-6c is a component set. but the official webpage dont declare a crossover in the package.

the picture from the 2 links above is different, the design and the availability of crossover, making me confuse.
somemore i suppose the GTO series should be more expensive but it just costs RM400??? perhaps it is a highly imitated product?

madness8878, whats the cause of damaged rear speakers? isit torn rubber surrounds?

if you're ok to settle for entry/slight higher, then your budget is very healthy to get a full complete set with sound proofing done.

consider maybe 1k for component set/HU respectively, that easily puts you in the mid ish level already.
door sound proofing for around 500 (bare minimum)

considering your preferred genre, i would recommend focal or dominations, however preferences vary, so auditioning first would be the best way to know for sure what you prefer

amp maybe get a 4 channel (2 channel for the component set, and 2 channel for future sub woofer)
that would cost maybe 1.5-2k

right now you'll be spending maybe 4k +/-

subwoofer would be in the 1k or less including box, so can consider it next time.

for johor/singapore area i wouldn't be familiar. however if you're able to have easy access to singapore, perhaps you may consider heading down there to survey on pricing as i know that the parts are cheaper there.
that, or you may consider browsing automotive garage for used parts that can ease your budget to push it (fairly easy if you get all used items) under 3k

pegasus will be much cheaper, however sound wise, well your call la. who knows you'll actually like that instead (and can save a lot)

amp is not a must, however it'll definitely drive your component speaker better
the same goes for sub woofer, even on slow/sentimental songs. more specifically concerts/orchestras (look up my previous posts on examples)
