hi there

my vip5 is still under contract (few months left), can upgrade to vip10?
will it renew my contract?

and can u explain the differences of vip10 and biz5 ? which is more recommended? + biz can be installed at home and not office?

thanks.
*
Hi, yes you can upgrade to vip 10 and contract will refresh to 2 years.

You must provide SSM to install Biz5 and the only different is biz5 got unlimited quota when the usage policy implemented. (no hypp tv for biz plan)

Hi Jovenne,

Forget to tell you, the current fixed line is under my father name and streamyx is under my name. Hope you can advise me on this. Thanks.
*
No problem on this. You must use your name
To upgrade unifi smile.gif

hi, if mine is under unipack and still under contract, can i upgrade to unifi?
and the house fix line, if the account holder are the same, they will auto waive the rental of RM25?
or do i need to inform tm about this?
*
Hi, yes you can upgrade to unifi and keep the existing number for free smile.gif

I will choose keep existing phone number for u during registration. However, when the contractor go to install unifi for u, please remind him to terminate your streamyx ONLY. If the contractor do not want to terminate for you, you might need to walk in Tm point do the termination. The process is very straightforward and fast smile.gif

Ya, you should make it clear before register biggrin.gif
You can upgrade to Unifi even the fixed line and streamyx are different name, BUT you can only keep the fixed line for free. (not the let's talk 38 plan)
IF you still want the Let's talk 38 plan, you must pay the let's talk 38 every month.
So the bill will only charge you the Plan, not the fixed line rental of RM 26.

Let's say you still want to keep the let's talk plan, the bill will be:

RM 149 (unifi)

and

RM 38 (let's talk plan)
RM 0 FREE (Existing Fixed line rental)

If you do not want to keep the plan, you will only need to pay RM 149.

* Unifi number can call out for free to TM fixed line, why do you need let's talk plan?? hehehehe smile.gif *

Hahaha you're most welcome smile.gif
Yes, you still can keep the number without the plan. But you will need to call 100 to cancel the let's talk plan yourself.

So the let's talk plan can cancel through telephone call, and streamyx is depending on contractor or walk in to TM point to terminate?
For the prefered installation date, can do it at saturday?
Thanks.

Hi there. I wanna ask, how does this work? I mean, usually, back in the old days, to get streamyx, we need to go to TM Point/Center to obtain it. so how does this work? also, I already have a working modem and a fully functional telephone line, can I use the available modem that I have? Do clarify this for me please smile.gif

o and btw, I am really new to all of this, so, forgive me in advance if certain normal or simple terms that you guys use, for me, is somewhat foreign tongue.gif

Hi,

Nowadays, TM has appointed Authorized Dealer to help them in registration works. The system we are using is the with TM point smile.gif

You will get a free wifi modem when you sign up streamyx.
So, no matter you already have it or not, you will still be getting a new modem for free smile.gif
