may i know address 2 can support up to what speed?
my case a bit special, i will stay at address 1 untill feb 2013 after that i will move to address 2, if i apply 4mb now, when i move back to address 2 can i downgrade? or they will penalty me?
*
There will be a relocation fee and re-activation fee for relocation.
I am not sure if they will charge you if there's no coverage for 4mb and the account is 4mb.
I don't think they will charge u for that. but, you can call always 100 for confirmation. tongue.gif

Hi,

Regarding to your question about upgrading streamyx to unifi, you have to use ur IC to upgrade instead of ur landlord. You can maintain current number and will get a new number from unifi. You can have two numbers at a same time smile.gif

my house dont have tv..
can i put aside the iptv router?
unifi cs say must have tv to test if not they will say uneligible ..
*
Hi,

Ya, they need a tv to activate your hypp tv acc.
You can actually borrow a TV from your friend or neighbour if you know them, after everything installed, give back them smile.gif

if i dont want can?..

Hi,

Some contractor will install without a TV (maybe the contractor wil bting one along for activation), but some don't sad.gif actually it is because the contractor couldn't claim for their installation job from TM if they did not activate the hypp tv.

oh.. if i apply thru u can u ask contractor to bring along tv?..
*
Hi,

I am sorry, I can't because I won't get to know who is your contractor.
However, you can tell him (contractor) that you do not have a TV when he called you before the installation blush.gif
Normally they will call you in 1 or 2 hours before installation.
(Do not tell the UniFi center when they called you for confirmation order *2 - 3 days before you will receive a call from center*)

just some final clarification..
where will they start the cable length count?
from the tm box?
or start from your house gate
*
It's 15m of fiber optic cable, 15m phone cable and 30m of casing.
They will start from your house smile.gif

from my house meaning total cable length in my house?
what's casing? @@
*
its more than enough for a landed house smile.gif
if condo, its easier coz its using existing vdsl cable.
casing is a case closing the cable to make it nicer wink.gif

Then, I might just opt for Streamyx.  tongue.gif
What are the procedures? What details that I need to provide?
How about pricing and other charges, I'm going for 1 Mbps package.
Will it be easy to upgrade to Unifi or other BB deals in the future?
Thanks.  biggrin.gif
*
Yes, it is as easy as Abc bro smile.gif
All you need to do is just fill in my e-form, installation can be done within 3-5 days ^^

My home line is currently registered under my mom's name, can I applied for Streamyx under my name?
How bout the monthly billing?
Thanks for answering my qs  biggrin.gif
*
Yes you can smile.gif
You will register bb deal, so the homeline will be included in the package. The monthly bill is depends on the package you sign up. The first bill will charge you one momth in advance smile.gif (Only first month)

So it means that I will apply for a new fix line as well?
Since I'm selecting BB 1Mbps, so the first month billing is how much? Will the advance payment be deducted for the following months?  smile.gif
Thanks ^^
*
Hi,

No, u can use back your mom's homeline to apply smile.gif so your mom can save the monthly rental of RM 25 as it will be included in the bb deal monthly usage.

The advance payment is the payment for second month. The second month bill's is payment for third month.

Eg.

First bill: RM 110 1st month usage + RM110 2nd month in advance + RM 10 stamp duty

Second bill: RM 110 3rd month usge

3rd bill: RM110 4th month usage

RM 110 is bb deal 1mbps smile.gif
