ehehe.. yeah.. maybe the 1.8SL too..  to be honest i had a 4k discount off for the sylphy. doubt T & H will be so accommodating.
408 also coming soon...
ahahaha.. bro.. i'm an uncle la.. female eye contact with me die lo.. my wife will pierce my eye.. icon_question.gif  biggrin.gif but the mrs really like the elantra.. for me, i'm trying to get the best of my limited $$$$. but after test driving both the sylphy and elantra, i'm beginning to move away from the forte.

if you're not married with kids and looking for some ride excitement and love to throw your car into corners, then the Mazda 3 2.0 is the one for you.

Nissan SA in wangsa maju offered RM6k discount even without me bargaining. laugh.gif

Did you say that you were trading in your current car? they took a look at my soon to be 10 year old Wira 1.5 GL and only offered me only 9k for it.. so in total, its 13k off. my hyundai SA was saying some are offering 8k for the sylphy.. i wonder where. in all fairness, the sylphy is a really comfortable ride. the power, although looks not impressive on paper, is really there. floor it and you will definitely notice.. NVH is top of the c segment class.. no one comes near it..   i love everything about it except the dashboard!! why in the name of god does TC still insist on such fugly dashboard??? and dont get me started on the wood trimmings.. damn old school and the drum brakes.. but.. if really 8k i might give it a go.. biggrin.gif maybe i should pay your nissan SA a visit. btw.. how long ago was this?

Hmm... thanks for the photo bro ezral.
The red doesn't seem very striking. Will have to go see it in the metal to be sure.

lol, are you sure test drove the real elantra? is it the 1998 model?
*
Maybe he just had super high expectations for the car.
After all, everyone's waited a long time for it, and with all the awards it has won.

Hey guys, food for thought.
Do you think someone's going to bring in mods to add auto-lock and power food mirrors to the elantra?

Went to check out the red at glenmarie today, and another test drive of the 1.8.
First thing the SA asked when I said I wanted to test-drive; "You benar benar mau beli ke, atau nak test saje?"
mad.gif Suffice to say when I do get my car, it won't be from him.

On the plus side, the red is beautiful! My future car has a colour now wub.gif

Hey anyone know any seller selling the original Hyundai elantra logo?
*
You can request the SAs to change them for you.
Most that I've talked to are willing to provide that. smile.gif

Due to various reasons, might be going for the 1.6 HS. (Planning to buy house)
Plus side though, might be able to get car sooner, and i prefer the HU in the 1.6 thumbup.gif
Downsides... gonna miss the sunroof, climate control, power seat cry.gif

The previous model before 2012 only have 2.0 engine

Added on April 15, 2012, 9:06 pm
Can you accept the power of 1.6? If 1.6 is underpower for you then you might end up always full throttle and FC will be pretty bad smile.gif
*
I'll have to go test drive the 1.6. Test drove it briefly previously, but wasn't paying any attention as I had my heart set on the 1.8.

QUOTE(WieBoy @ Apr 15 2012, 09:06 PM)
Dun wry lar bro, i think sunroof not useful for 1.8 buyers. unless you are smokers

Manual seat easy to maintain!

for Auto climate, even if it adjust itself, every1 max to lowest temp to get off the heat in our Bolehland!

Kinda worry for 2mr, cuz the Mighty P gona to launch, this thread will actively hot with alot of bashers!!!
*
True, true... trying to tell myself that too laugh.gif
