Or maybe even autolock as well.?

If it's already in there, it's probably a simple step of enabling it.
Yeah, it's available on my current 8-year car as well.

Speaking of which, am I the only one who thinks that the HU in the 1.6 sounds better than the one in the 1.8?

I tested both around the 30-35 volume range.
And it was only on the radio, so actual cds might vary, haha.
But to be honest I prefer the look of the 1.6's HU more than the 1.8's.

Kept bugging the SA if I could have the 1.8 with the 1.6's HU previously

The NVH, however, is excellent!

I have a 1.6 forte back at home too. The forte feels slightly peppier than the elantra.
But the elantra's cabin is definitely quieter than the forte's.

Yes, the reverse camera and electrochromatic rear-view mirror is awesome!
