sorry. the old elantra 1.6 and 1.8 how Much? the last model before 2012 model.

Due to various reasons, might be going for the 1.6 HS. (Planning to buy house)
Plus side though, might be able to get car sooner, and i prefer the HU in the 1.6
Downsides... gonna miss the sunroof, climate control, power seat

i wonder anyone test elantra 1.6 vs forte 1.6 ? i got a forte 1.6 in my house and i think its a bit underpower, although not important to me 

but i do like the reverse camera 

exactly.. i've no idea why some ppl say that the Forte has better NVH.. something wrong with the Forte that i tested?? yes.. there is more pronounced engine noise in the elantra, but maybe its because all the other noises has been cut down?? anyhow, its still acceptable for me.. i dont pull towards redline all the time..

after people saw the MD series, do they still consider the two previous ones?

The price diff between 1.6HS and 1.8 is about 15k. You got the same car which is CKD with engine capacity increased from 1600 litres to 1800 litres. However, for 30k diff, if you buy sonata, your engine capacity increase by 200 litres from 1800 litres to 2000 litres. But you get a CBU car and D segment car with 2 sun roof instead of one. On top of that, you get a Hyundai car and NOT inokom car. It seems that the 1.8 lit elantra is grossly overpriced

Just got back from Kah Bintang kepoh. Didn't mentioned additional cost for second/third batch to me. Just ask me place booking quickly n if got allocation can get end of this month only. Standard SOP la.

i heard from my SA that 1.6SS doesnt have the multimedia buttons on the steering .. only 1.6HS and 1.8 have it.
