enlighten sold here (currently) semua is polis and army one, i get them for the weapons, hinges and various odds and ends parts.

the minifigs... quality is quite bad, hand come off too easily

Just checked out Toys R Us Mid Valley and they were putting up several TRU exclusives on the shelves. 6857 - Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape and 9495 - Gold Leader's Y Wing for RM249.90.

They also added more Quinjets and they even have the Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout set for the high high price of RM345. Most of the other Marvel sets were also back in stock.

Oh and if anyone is thinking of checking out the TRU clearance sale at Summit, don't bother. No Lego at all.

wented there at 10am today. no lego. huhuh was hping they have some old sets to clear like prince of persia...

but there is decent selection of 50% off barbie dolls.

Last time got 1 shop in Atria that sells all these enlighten and clone bricks. That is where I got my enlighten black sea barracuda with chrome plated weapons. But quality wise still a few steps below Lego. It is still compatible with Lego nonetheless.

Lego will NEVER do a WW2 or current period warship or vehicle due to their history in Europe. As much as I wish Lego to produce an aircraft carrier or a naval destroyer I know that is not going to happen. Even their police officers in the city police sets do not carry any weapons at all. You can bet Lego will not produce an FRU water cannon with teargas launcher.

I didn't know enlighten got a full range of naval ships The only other brand I know which produces modern warships is Oxford and most recently the Kre-O battleship. As much as I want to the Kre-O one, it is too expensive for a clone set!

Thanks for the tip. Thinking of going there, but since got no Lego I won't bother. Last year got some Toy Story and Atlantis sets on discount.

Something tells me bricklinking 2-face might be a cheaper option. Or wait end of the year after going to Legoland make a short trip to Singapore to buy the sets at cheaper price... if the sets still available

Yeah, a trip to Legoland and drop by SG will definitely be a better bet.

Talking bout Enlighten, I bought its clone of Hurricane harbor (http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=6338-1) for rm40 many years ago and the building experience was literally painful. I chipped my nail and some parts are either too tight or too loose.

yeah .. the price is just right .. since i checked at lego US site, retail price after convert should be around rm150+ only ... but of course, that's probably at anytime gonna change , once the seller realize the price can be adjusted higher some more ... haha...

There is tax on top of the price listed in US Lego.com, and I think the rate depends on the shipping destination (US state).

I downloaded a torso .psd and modified it.

Printed on normal A4 80gm paper and stick on with glue

The right one is first attempt as to do Armani Exchange, it messed up cos my finger rubbed on the paper and it smeared a little.
I used black marker pen to black out the sides of the paper which was white

The one on the right is female torso, i touched up a bit in photoshop on the edges cos my scissors not sharp enough and left some white and uneven cutting.
