Saga is Drive-By-Wire, stepping on pedal before car starts does nothing.
Bro, comes to think of it, if user manual against pressing accelerator, meaning DBW actually functioning after ACC. Use your common sense and think why they against stepping on pedal during ignition. Mechanical wise, I have not dismantle a GAGA before, but from what I heard from the ball bearing starter, there is an auto cut off function that prevent the starter being crank under 2 condition:
1) When the main shaft of the starter is still spinning, meaning if you fail to start your engine, your starter main shaft could still turning. If you try to turn your key, nothing will happen. This is to prevent your flywheel pull back your starter that causes damage to both starter/flywheel. The cut off will wait until the main shaft of the started totally stopped before it allow to crank again.
2) As same as condition 1... some sohigh....

me

1st time took the car...

Because haven't been driving a NORMAL car for a long time, have forgotten how a standard car SHOULD sounded/feels like. When I got on the car, I didn't even know its started! Its "soundproof" is soooooo damn good to me!

I didn't even bother to look at the tachometer, and start turning the key!
So, I believe DBW is NOT cut off before engine start. I think it follow the ACC instead

To narrow down the problem, start your car as usual, then disconnect the battery.
If the car dies, then the alternator is at fault.
That too, iron out the weaken battery suspicious. Volt meter show 12V doesn't mean the battery is still healthy. When apply load(spin the starter), the voltage could drop down to 11/10. If apply load and it drop to 8V, normally your car wouldn't start
