QUOTE(muruga89 @ Apr 6 2013, 02:21 AM) Just want some opinion from the Sifus here. is it enough to go traveling with just a 50mm 1.4G nikkor with d600? Or should I get a wide lens too? thank you in advace!! think you shud get a telephoto ranged lens to go traveling. something that will cover the usual range that you will shot. travelling with a prime lens might be quite frustrating at times due to the range limitations.

Might not wide enough to cover building or scenery I used UWA and 35mm to cover most QUOTE(llsphinxll @ Apr 6 2013, 07:00 AM) think you shud get a telephoto ranged lens to go traveling. something that will cover the usual range that you will shot. travelling with a prime lens might be quite frustrating at times due to the range limitations. Only gonna bring X100s / backup with X100, bth with 28mm (35mm equivalent). So, imo, it all depends on what u gonna shoot.

hi sifus, I'm traveling to Korea in late May. Thinking of getting a tripod and portrait lens (50mm f1.8 auto focus). For now, I only have Nikon D3100 kit lens. What portrait lens and tripod or other stuffs you'd recommend on bringing? I'd like to take scenery shots and some bokeh ones too. bangkok trip last november » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by avanpiper: Apr 6 2013, 12:21 PM

just get a second hand canon ef 24-105 f4. will put it on my 600d. will it enough to cover almost everything when travel especially for street and not so big landscape situations? no budget to get a wide angle purpose lens yet
