I dont know why RDM keep putting Ramiress as Right Winger. Totally rubbish. Look at why Mikel doing entire game? No creativity at all. Lampard already scored 150 in EPL, so I think he better looking for new club next season. No sentiment here, he already a legend at Chelsea and Chelsea need someone young, fresh and more flair at midfield. With Spurs also in crisis and Redknapp will get England job, I think Modric or Bale should be transfer target next season. We really need more flair especially in winger and midfield

Jogging and waiting the best time to concede. We as fans already can predict we can concede. No attempt at all at 2nd half to test Scwarzer.

lol at chelsea.. this is befitting for a team targeting a fourth place. sometime play good.. sometime not. and everything want to settle in final 10 minutes. all gung-ho in that small space of time..

If Chelsea plays like this in the CL against Barca, I think CFC is "dead meat".

IMHO, Chelsea will line-up in the following 4-2-3-1 formation:

1 Petr Cech

2 Branislav Ivanovic 24 Gary Cahill26 John Terry 34 Ryan Bertrand

12 John Mikel Obi 8 Frank Lampard

7 Ramires16 Raul Meireles21 Salomon Kalou

9 Fernando Torres (or 11 D.Drogba)

Subs: 22 Ross Turnbull, 17 Jose Bosingwa, 6 Oriol Romeu, 15 Florent Malouda, 10 Juan Mata, 23 Daniel Sturridge, 11 Didier Drogba.

But, seriously, Chelsea should consider getting newer players and let players like Lampard, Terry etc go.

Di Mattteo -
"Conceding late goals has been a pattern this season, 1-0 is always a shaky result."

Well do something dammit!

QUOTE
So, taking a look at all goals conceded by Chelsea since the beginning of March:
Since 3 March
West Bromwich – ‘82
Napoli – ‘55
Leicester – ‘77, ‘80
Manchester City – ‘78, ‘85
Aston Villa – ‘77, ‘80
Benfica – ‘85
Wigan – ‘82
Fulham – ‘82
The second-half apocalypse. Ten of the 11 goals we’ve conceded over that time period have come after 75 minutes. That lends creed to those that say we are tiring badly at the end of games. Old squad with lack of rejuvenation – we’ve heard that before. It also confirms that our approach is severely flawed. Why are we not killing teams off? This has been a problem for seasons now, and, frankly, it should be an easy fix. We used to batter teams, now we invite them to recover. What the f*ck.

That is a possibility also.
IMHO, if Sturridge and Ramires was off-form on that day, Chelsea will have a big problem trying to overwhelm their opponent. And di Matteo should substitute some of the tired players by the 65 - 70th minutes as most goals conceded since beginning of last month was it the last quarter of the second half period.

Missing out on Champions League next season will surely affect the players that's going to come in during the summer.

We failed to kill off games and seemed to always let opponents crawl back into it, that's been happening during the entire season. Despite the 8 wins in the last 10 matches, I still felt that a lot of the players are not playing to win, more like just playing for the sake of playing.

Anyways, Fulham deserved the point because they played well. Us against Spurs this Sunday, let's hope for the best this coming week!

It's our 3rd game in 6 days time, don't expect the players to play 100% even there is squad rotation... even our Mata who played so well during the first half of the season, now he is also struggling (lost the ball easily, sometimes passed the ball to opponent). Another good example is City's David Silva.. Hopefully this coming 6 days break (before spurs game) will give the lads more time to rest

I still think we are able to finish above spurs...but the problem now is on-form Newcastle doh.gif .. they might end up getting the 4th spot and spurs and us getting the 5th/6th...sigh

Freshies are a good lot, they yearn to play and not play to earn flex.gif Like I've said before(many many many posts ago~) West Ham used to be an excellent "nursery" for good English players. Tho curently in the championship,I still keep touch with their play and progress, but sad to say - the days of using young English lads are long gone..if Chelsea need a midfielder, I'd say West Ham's Mark Noble is a good catch.

BRANISLAV IVANOVIC will miss Chelsea’s next three games after punching Wigan’s Shaun Maloney.

He will miss Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final against Spurs at Wembley as well as vital Prem games against Arsenal and QPR.

hmmmm ..
