this is a good idea to have a community like this. but i dont have car though sad.gif
btw, what is the purpose of this meet up?? are u going to play something like Table-Top game?
i only own a few castle and viking sets..

My suggestion, why dont we post up the pictures of our LEGO customization? else this thread will
be meaningless and partially dead.

Hi Guys, Nice to meet you all, after I saw the posts in here (didn't read finish the whole 34 pages), I was convinced to share my joy here.

I'm 17, Miri Sarawak. I participate in NXT Competition, Got 3rd over 14. =( I'm using sensor to operate my NXT, And however, during the first match, My Robot eventually Hit the obstacle T_T. During the second round, I pass it completely =D. Wasted 30++ Seconds though.

Before the competition, I bought my 9797 NXT Mindstorm for RM4K++, Thanks to the teacher, we get a price of RM2.3K. I bought my track too, to practice on. A lot of money was splashed onto this competition, but since last year, I learnt my mistake, always replace the darned batteries before entering 2nd round/check the batteries (I'm using RCX at that time, Insufficient training, and lack of experience) so I lost. This year, i came back well prepared but still mistake occur.

How about you guys? I want to post my Picture of my 9797 here soon. Proud owner of 9797

My purpose is just to meet more lego players....slowly as the group grows larger we can form our very own lug. It was just a suggestion only so if we do come to play it will be like a mini Table-Top game. Wonder how the other LUGs around the world run. Do they bring their own sets, or do we make do with what the host has? I need more feedback on this so that we can eventually form a group. What say you?

WTF 9797 costs RM4k++ rclxub.gif No wonder the NXT community is so small in Malaysia.... But hey just post any interesting pictures you have, especially your creations.

How about coming up with mini challenges with themes once in a while and meet up somewhere during the deadline to show off your creations to each other ?

great idea for meetups! I wanna suggest "brick swapping" sessions.

I've some new unused green and brown bricks which might be useful for castle collectors out there to build your scenery and hills. I've no use for them since I primarily built LEGO mecha. In return I wish u guys out there would hook me up wiv some juicy wing plates/bricks and some hinges.

Hehe....Anyone interested in minifigs swapping as well? Or swap between bricks, minifigs, horses and etc? Actually the Castle theme this time around is pretty cheap (compared to Star Wars) but sometimes the unnecessary things (to me at least) come along like dragon and so forth. I'd prefer to have more horses and minifigs instead of the dragon. Sigh, I bought a couple of duplicate set such as Final Joust because this set has the best horses and minifigs of all the Castle theme. This in return causes me to have all the bricks and weapons which I'm storing it in a bucket.
Btw, anyone have any idea if the Spongebob's set is coming to Malaysia? The last time on the web it's written that the Spongebob is only available in U.S and Canada but now they have removed the caveat, so I wonder is it going to be available worldwide including Malaysia?

Oic, hmm.....In this case I really need to check out at Brickboy soon. I'm really keen to collect minifigures as my room is exploding with bigger sets, no more place to keep it. At least minifigures I could keep it in my display cabinet, dust free as well.

Guys, let me know if anyone of you is interested in Vulture Droid (it comes from the set of Star Wars Jedi Starfighter) as I'm willing to exchange it with minifigs.

Now my aim is keep as much space as possible to get the huge Castle lar, too many Star Wars....Have been holding on my urge to get the huge castle but no space rclxub.gif

Bro, please give me some time as I'm sorting out the stuffs, just bought a toolbox to store all the different things neatly. Hehe, scared to lose the slightest things, grown up have to be more careful lar....I'll identify things that I'm sure I won't be using for the rest of my life first, then I'll snap a photo and attach it. Do you have any minifigs which you don't want and available for exchange? I'm even thinking to get rid of some other stuffs (which I'll attach as well once I have identified). No worries, all in good condition as I keep most things in the display cabinet, those that requires stickers I did not stick. So stickers are in the box as well, brand new.

Man, I really got into the Lego poison lar, couldn't stop buying it especially the Castle theme. Collecting all the knights minifigs, 'cun' like crazy thumbup.gif Do you have those Lego poison too? My colleagues and friends think I'm really mad.

Wow, it looks cool man but like always must see the real set. I was quite disappointed when I see the X-Wing real set, doesn't look like a RM349.90 set. Hey, are you a Lego Star Wars fan?

Wow, cool toys you have johnny........And I do believe you are a great fan of Lego just like me thumbup.gif I started collecting Vikings and Castle theme as well lately. But like I've said earlier, I'm holding on to my urges on big sets because of space constraints in my room so what I do lately is to buy smaller sets to get enough of minifigs and start a war while building towers own my own rclxms.gif I keep all these precious minifigs in a display cabinet, will snap a photo soon to share. This month itself I bought Army of Vikings with Heavy Catapult, 5 sets of Crossbow Attack, 4 sets of Final Joust and Knight's Kingdom King Siege Tower on top of buying some other Star Wars set. Oh yeah, bought some minifigs from Brickboy as well, got the Werewolf minifig. Hmm...for the next couple of months I'll just be concentrating on Vikings, Knights Kingdom and Castle theme. Plan to have another 20 horses and 30 minifigs perhaps hmm.gif

Hahaha....Need to buy wall mounted shelf for my Lego lar...

Hmm.....I guess it is because I started collecting lately, so trying to catch up with all old models otherwise I'll not indulge so heavily on it. Now must discipline to put like RM200-RM300 a month so that I don't have to spend a bomb again, better way I guess hmm.gif

If consistently spend RM2000 a month also I can faint lar rclxub.gif Better wait for Texchem sale and grab everything you can thumbup.gif
