The name "wabra" appears on the box since the designer of this set is named Uwe Wabra.  In fact there are 9 other random names to choose from the massive sticker sheet.

Also if you noticed the wording on some of the stickers "UW Lifting Services", that is basically Mr. Wabra's own lifting company icon_idea.gif

Hehe.. someone got his 8258 already whistling.gif

I personally think the brickmaster pirate and castle not quite worth it.

Does it only contain instructions and bricks?

tswern, you didnt get the bricksmasters? Actually I'd get it if it was like RM 80. Haha.
*
Wanted to get it, but changed my minelar.

It seems more like building instructions than a book to me.

The education version of the NXT and the retail version are different (there is no instructions for alpha-rex in the education version). The education version costs more too.

FYI, the Malaysian team here won the World Robotics Olympiad in 2009

http://bricksmal.com/lego-mindstorms/world...-olympiad-2009/

Anyway, you may order your NXT 2.0 from brickbastion.com tongue.gif

Just one question, why are all the Lego toys these days are so expensive?

I remembered when I was young, the most expensive set was around Rm200+ and that set was huge.

Now i went to Toy R Us planning to get a Lego set for my little cousin brother, some sets can reach to like Rm600+, even the smallest set are going for Rm50+.
*
Last time when i was young, Nasi Lemak with egg cost me 80 cents. Now its more than RM2.

It's called inflation smile.gif

Also, our RM drop a lot compared to other currencies during the financial crisis in 1997.

LEGO sets in Malaysia, pricing are OK with exception of Star Wars Sets.

What will be there?
*
Sets from collectors, recent and vintage. Most UCS Starwars sets would be there.

Themes like castle, city, exo force, PoP, Toy Story, cube dudes, technics...etc.

New wing, One Utama! wink.gif

There would be some sales carried out by TRU. Not too sure wat they are selling though at this moment smile.gif

I bought from bricklink for years. No problem each time. Even big boxes of stuff reach my doostep. Of coz its still dependent on the seller. I usually pick the ones with huge inventory of stuff.
*
Used bricklink for close to 50 times for parts. Yeah, some stuff do get missing. But most reach my doorstep.

Yeap.. got conned once (or was it twice) too tongue.gif.

Thanks.

I think its a MOC. You have to contact the builder that built it, whether he is interested to sell it to you or otherwise.

There are some extremely rare Toystory keychains at and magnets there on sale. Limited amounts and can't be bought elsewhere in Malaysia.

As for the event, part of my sets are on display. Its a collector exhibition. As for the sales part, is handled byTRU. wink.gif

It's a "Collector" exhibit. smile.gif

Definately planning to have MORE MOC's in future. That requires a lot of time, commitment and lotsa bricklinking!

Anyway, the first event serves more to "test" waters and to gauge the general reaction of the people. Not everyone likes to see MOC's though tongue.gif.

guys i bought lego 8292 from a seller in Bricklink who lives in Germany...
she said there is no tracking id if post by letterpost...is it true? i have no idea where is my package now...she said she already posted last saturday/sunday...
*
Takes a while to arrive from Germany (use to buy lotsa spare parts from bricklink, 2 weeks max).

Yeap, no tracking. Usually would not be a problem unless it gets stuck in Malaysian customs. Without tracking, customs might toss the item away.
