QUOTE(yukiz @ Oct 2 2007, 02:04 PM) I actually got this during the Isetan sale for RM450 or so, otherwise usual price will be RM750 approximately.Added on October 2, 2007, 6:59 pm QUOTE(johnnycp @ Oct 2 2007, 05:56 PM) 2 normal star destroyer = 1 collector edition star destroyer Hehehe...This one also took so much space already, the UCS is 40cm longer than this lar. Besides, this one has really nice minifigs (Darth Vader u should invest in the collector edition star destroyer http://img363.imageshack.us/img363/6531/ywing2bf6.jpg http://img363.imageshack.us/img363/3356/minifigures3dg2.jpg http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/1017/jetww1.jpg http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/7473/exoforce2le2.jpg http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/7985/bwing1mc9.jpg Just bought the huge baseplate (model 628) to put my castle on it as I find the Technics pin pretty flimsy and difficult to carry the castle around. Actually inspired by Alan from Brickboys as I saw him doing it, he even advise me to do it. Now all I have to get is a big table and a customize plastic cover [size 45cm(Height)X50cm(Width)X80cm(Length)] so that I could take all my medieval minifigs and horses to decorate my castle without collecting dust This post has been edited by Superman07: Oct 2 2007, 07:41 PM |

QUOTE(kumyen @ Oct 2 2007, 10:11 PM) been to mid vally, the garden as well on 29th sept all the way from PG, Well, since you are there why not visit their complete store in Berjaya Times Square (BTS)? The new shop in Gardens only carry newer things but I guess things will eventually moved from BTS to there gradually.not many things there.. promotion will only held on october, as the stock haven arrive and other technical problem... By the way Matt Ashton, the Castle product design lead for LEGO pass along this message about the leaked images on Eurobricks: Quote: The images that have leaked and all been released on EuroBricks for Castle, SpongeBob, StarWars and Indiana Jones are all preliminary images, and these products have changed slightly since these photographs have been taken. These images were taken for 'selling-in' to the trade, which is prior to the finalization of the models and contain prototype elements and graphics. During this final period of the design process, is when the last tweaks are made to the models mainly regarding colors and decorations, and getting the model to it's final price... So please expect some minor alterations to have taken place! You can however rest assured our new Troll Warrior minifigures will have green hands, will not be wearing re-issued Viking outfits or wearing fuzzy 'Supreme' wigs! I hope this will mean you can all get a better nights sleep tonight!!! ; ) Best Wishes... Build on!!! Matt This post has been edited by Superman07: Oct 3 2007, 12:09 PM |

QUOTE(kumyen @ Oct 5 2007, 12:27 PM) wow.. Actually there's not much changes in BTS per se, but many things in BTS isn't in Mid Valley. Today just got a Star Wars Naboo Fighter, I shall post it later after having photography sessions any more bargain? hehe... hmm.. i have no time to go to BTS but i have been there 5 months ago... so i don't think that there are much changes... QUOTE(designer69 @ Oct 8 2007, 10:23 AM) Ya lar, I can't read nor write Chinese... Hehe, I was bored to death and just went to buy a Tie Interceptor Wow, after I'm done with the Tie Interceptor, it's fantastic both in design and size, quite huge for a RM149.90 set (I got it for 134.91 after 10% discount). honestly speaking, it's one of the most beautiful Star Wars set and I seriously urge even non-Star Wars fan to get it as well, you will not regret buying it. Beautiful, just beautiful.... This post has been edited by Superman07: Oct 9 2007, 08:54 AM |

QUOTE(johnnycp @ Oct 11 2007, 03:36 PM) Sigh.........this waiting game is making me sick, I hope Texchem will bring it in by November. Somehow I don't like the structure of Dwarves Mine but just the minifigs. Perhaps I could use the bricks as scrap for castle expansion. I will also be getting plenty of Wizards and army in their 2008 impulse sets. Fasterlar come into the Malaysian market.... |

QUOTE(johnnycp @ Oct 12 2007, 06:03 PM) i also dont like the stucture. however, light gray bricks can use to build my other castle. so nothing is wasted here Haha..So I guess when you buy it the original structure will not stay long huh? I guess it's the same for me Hehe...Just got myself the Star Wars Jabba Sail Barge, it's really cool with all great minifigs such as Luke Skywalker, Pricess Leia, Han Solo, R2-D2, Jabba the Hutt, Gamorrean Guard, Lando and Bobba Fett.... Yes, I have to admit that I bought it initially was because of the minifigs but after I have built the Sail Barge, it looks really awesome with many special parts and accessories. Besides that, it's kinda huge and it's fun to build. I would suggest that anyone who likes Star Wars or ship to put this set as priority. I think after buying this set my Star Wars collection is kinda complete besides things that I don't really like or too out of hand such as the UCS Millenium Falcon that will cost me more than RM3500. QUOTE(netcrusader @ Oct 15 2007, 02:41 AM) As per my knowledge, there will be no pirate theme next year but like I've said, you could modify the Jabba Sail Barge. With all the unique parts, you could virtually make it to any ships Added on October 15, 2007, 9:39 pm QUOTE(netcrusader @ Oct 15 2007, 02:41 AM) As per my knowledge, there will be no pirate theme next year but you could modify the Jabba Sail Barge to any ships you want. QUOTE(teha123 @ Oct 17 2007, 01:52 AM) Yeaah legooooos . I used to have pirates set lots of them but all gone. Actually most Viking sets are out of production. Brickboy still have 2 model I think... But you could always visit them at 7th floor Berjaya Times Square or 3rd floor at Gardens....However, they have quite many sets of older castle sets. You could always call Alan at 016-2128787 and somehow he'll provide you ways of acquiring the older sets...Best of luck Then lately saw these vikings and castle lego got into it again and started purchasing them again they are really nice especially the minifigs really cute and nice design Added on October 17, 2007, 1:52 amooooo yeah anyone knows a good place to look for those old vikings set? |

QUOTE(designer69 @ Oct 18 2007, 12:04 PM) I like the tiny turbo....I have been collecting them since 2005. Now they come out with bridge. gas station.....many more. But very costly. Costly? I have a very costly plan too which is to build a series of scene from Star Wars movie now (this also mean that I need to abandon my Castle project). Don't get me wrong, I still love my Castle it is just that I love Star Wars more because the minifigs and the vehicles are unique Actually it's weird because since I have too many sets now, what I do nowadays is to fix the minifigs only and keep it in my display cabinet while the set I'll keep it in my store room until 1 fine day I have enough of space then I'll fix everything Hahaha...May the Force be with you. Oh, Dwarves' Mine is officially out in the Lego website already as below link http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Leaf.aspx?cn=473&d=70 And it's really cheap, same price as Skeleton Tower...
