hello there.
I used to collect Lego sets when I was young. Unfortunately, some of the important and larger sets were 'borrowed' by my very young cousins, and ruined most of them. I should be blamed for the mistake. However, my parents kept on pestering to share the toys, so I had to follow what they said. I wished I did not have to share at all to preserve it. Well, now I begin to start collecting it again after 20 years. I'm now collecting the Police ones. Very nice. I just got a Police copter and a Road-block a few days ago. |

I used to have a big lego collection which I gather since I was 4years old. Unfortunately, my family's house undergone a terrible flood several years back. Almost all of the legos were missing during the cleanup I thought about giving up from lego for good. Several years after the incident, I bought one set just for fun to share with my younger brother. After that, I started to want to collect lego again. Within the past two month, I bought the 7938 train, 7743 police command centre, 7937 train station, 8402 city house, 7848 toys'r'us shop with truck, 7235 police motorcycle, and some pieces from bricklink including train tracks. I regret selling some of my LEGOs to my secondary school teacher (yes.... you didn't hear wrong!). I missed my blue private plane, and that red cargo plane back in early 90s! Back then, I dreamed of buying that LEGO Hospital and that Hospital Plane where its butt can open and put the stretcher inside. Too bad I had no $$$
But its never too late. For those sets that I have lost , I plan to buy individual parts and reconstruct them back.. and build my own lego town again. |

Hey guys,
Here is a review on 8086 Droid Tri-fighter. Part 1 This set is from the 2010 The Clone Wars theme, and has 268 pieces. The cost is GBP24.99 (about RM125) which is RM0.467/ piece. It comes with 3 droid minifigures. The front and back of box. The front shows the droid tri-fighter and three rocket droids while the back shows the features of the set. It comes with 2 flick fire missiles. ![]() ![]() Box contents. Note the sticker sheet. I wished Lego had put in some printed parts. ![]() Parts sorted. Some cool parts include the light gray triangle parts and trans red parts. I love the dark blue parts. ![]() Random instruction page and corresponding build. This is where you put connect the three wings to the rear of the fighter. ![]() Minifigures. The droids have more colour compared to droid (with STAP) from the AT-TE. The one with yellow markings is the commander droid. ![]() Finished model. Quite a sweet looking fighter. ![]() The Clone Wars ![]() Concluding thoughts: for the price I paid, I think it's quite a good set. The build is rather simple and repetitive but I really like the minifigures. However if you are buying retail at RM194.90, I do not recommend it.
