QUOTE(kaizer @ Apr 24 2012, 11:56 AM) Ardent is large volume. No personal experience but from what I read, it's a pretty good tires. ardents look like they will hold up in kiara. am using advantage and its good but recommended to get the 2.25. used to run advantage upfront and crossmarks on the rear.. no problem with traction.the only problem with maxxis tires that i have owned is that i find the side walls are very thin and they get damaged easily.IINM, Snapshot is using ARDENTs. Added on April 24, 2012, 11:57 amI love Minions DHF upfront. 2.35 singleply wirebead. QUOTE(majorsinbad @ Apr 24 2012, 12:21 PM) Technical Question why do you want to run tubeless? tak takut rim rosak ke? leceh la kalau jus meleleh Is it true that it is more difficult to use your old tyres when you convert to tubeless? Does this mean one needs to get new tyres to run tubeless? |

QUOTE(alan8112 @ Apr 28 2012, 06:09 PM) hi guys, im just assembly this bike, the circle on the picture is too long You may want to cut it. most bikes have 3 spacers. It can be very dangerous. However some riders tend to not cut or cut less in view that they will be reusing the fork on another frame that has a longer head tube. Priority should be safety.do i need to cut it or just add few washer and lift up the stem? |

QUOTE(guilt79 @ Apr 29 2012, 11:33 PM) Anyone been to KH Cycles to service bikes? Charge RM300 for complete service and washing. Im'm thinking about it because my Exilir 5 brakepad keeps jamming on the disc. Sent 3 times to service but still remains the same thing. PistOn stuck issue? Did they clean it thoroughly? I usually let it extend all the way out and have em lubed and cleaned. If the piston extends too far out, the dot fluid will flow out.not sure if piston will pop out but just becareful. U spray with some silicon. Kau tim.hopefully.QUOTE(majorsinbad @ Apr 30 2012, 11:34 AM) Yeah ...lol...its quite small when I compared it to my front Noby Nics...well what to do ..pakai dulu la ... Maxxis run smaller. Get a size bigger.sidewalls are thin and probably One of the reasons why they are lighter. Profile depends on your rims as well. Wider rim profile FTW. |

Try check it out in YouTube. ini baru bestini baru best QUOTE(chyu89 @ May 4 2012, 01:25 PM) kill it and the kiara kakis will hunt you down.....got people watching... |

QUOTE(SeanLee85 @ May 21 2012, 07:59 AM) if you are unlucky you will kena.this is how they value your products and the tax is based on this valuation. "product value + X amount of standard freight from agreed on IATA freight charge. above RM 500 and you will be liable for taxes.so say if you ordered RM300 worth gloves. and the standard min charge <4KG parcel from UK is ~ RM 280. Your total value is RM 580 and you will be taxed based on this amount even though you paid only RM 100 for the freight from UK to Malaysia. It sucks doesnt it ? the amounf of taxes depends on HS codes of the items that you import as well. Most UK invoices i noticed does not have this but anything from US is usually quite comprehensive and comes with the HS code description. |

the minimum freight charge from UK is MYR 287.16. This is up to 4.2 KG parcel weight according to IATA rates for year 2011 though. For US, the minimum charge is RM384 for freight. Sometime you get lucky sometimes you dont. NEGARA UNITED KINGDOM MIN WT CAJ MIN NORMAL >45 KG >100 KG >300 KG >500 KG 4.2 287.16 42.50 42.50 16.61 15.84 `14.60 |

QUOTE(smc9913 @ Jun 21 2012, 09:25 AM) Bro, just wondering. If we are not familiar with the Bukit Kiara trails, is it advisable to ride there at night? We just would like to try out the trail only. How is the trail there? Are they for beginners , intermediate etc? it's best to familiarize yourself before attempting night ride at kiara. kiara is not your usual FRIM or RRI. you dont want to be caught off guard and go tree hugging or rolling into a ditch. in terms of difficulty, i would rate it something along dream trail in FRIM perhaps more challenging and fun. What time does the park close at night? Will probably try it out next week, weekdays at night. CHeers. Where do you often ride? |

Challenge acceptedQUOTE(smc9913 @ Jun 22 2012, 09:04 AM) Me and friends mostly ride in Seremban, on / off road ... but just recently bring my bike to KL and stay near kiara area. SO, was just wondering where should we go for night biking. Anyways, at the moment, think will just go there during the day time on weekends. Kiara mostly in the mornings. Sometimes early morning before sunrise. Occasionally in the night when got kaki. You can try frim as its very popular as well. What about you? Do you do night rides or just Kiara Park on the weekends? Cheers. |
