front fork is kashima thinking upgrading the rear to kashima... it look better and RP23 should be a better option.. i was thinking of upgrading to Blur LT...but i worry it affect my climbing speed...that is why i stick to Superlight...
i wouldn't go superlight that frame just looks flimsy .why superlight?....but instead will look at giant anthem or specialized..climbing speed sure good.
mainly the carbon body and fox....i wil top up a bit to get the xt wheels set, then the other parts i wil change 1 by 1 later...
But the Fox I would say is entry level ...(correct me if Im wrong here guys)...Its an old RL model ...doubt its 15QR too Looking at the specs they cut down the cost through the brakes ...and possibly the wheels .... Is it frames head tube tapered?
If you really want Carbon ...then u can give it a try la ...
But just remember ...not all Carbon frame are the same ...
My doubt will be Polygon + carbon is something that I wouldn't wan to be the guinea pig.
At 4k, and the components are all quite decent. You gonna use this for XC. So, having extreme good brakes not not be so great. Wheelsets... again... this and XT what the diff?

Overall, it looks good. He! He! He!
You would choose this but you dont want to be Guinea Pig? How la like dat heheheh ..... Yeah components quite decent ....just brakes and crank ...
juz discuss with the bike shop he can upgarde deore crank for me total rm4700
You seem very keen on the bike .... I say if you really like it ....then buy it ...at the end of the day ...you ll ride it ...and its your money... Might as well buy something you really want ...not what others want ...
Then you can join us at Kiara heheheh...thats where all the fun is
Seriously, if you're getting that Polygon IMHO it's best to ride it as it is. Most of the stuffs on there is heavy as fook. No point to topup money just to get Deores. Save up for some serious monies and go for really light stuffs.
If the frame is more than 1.3kg, IMHO it's not worthy to buy it in the 1st place. A proper aluminium 'race geometry' XTC is at 1.4~1.5kgs. A friend that rides his XTC everywhere except doing jumps and it's holding up fine. He does drops though.
