To which I have answered yours faithfully. Earlier. Again I reiterate;

you can't just expect any of your targets to come over.

Already a player snubbed us for Man. City. why?

you and i have the answer to that. But do we have a means to fix it?

Apparently FSG found a way to circumvent it, even though it takes like 5 years of 'incubating time'.
*
I reckon you referred to the point, sensible signings.

A player snubbed us for ManC. So what?
That doesn't mean we need to spend big bucks on "mid-table" players.
See?

If a midtable player can afford to snub us then what that does that say about our pulling power ?
*
We can still look for other players.
The point here is, we need to spend our money wisely. Make sensible signings.

P/S Torres snubbed big clubs for Liverpool.

Like said, Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Whilst said, you cant say Adam was a failure at Blackpool.....so you must have insight or hindsight!  smile.gif

Jumping the gn a bit arent we?

Next season we will have Lucas, Agger amd johnson back.
Seen the impact of Agger?
i guess we will see an even bigger impact of Lucas....i really believe that. Bigger tha Stevie.
IMHO we lost the way with Lucas injured thsi season.

i am looking forward to them coming back.
*
2 problems.
1) We signed average players with poor performance.
2) With the money spent, we did not improve the depth of our squad.

P/S Adam is the cheapest player we bought (except those signed on free transfer, Doni & Bellamy).
For me, 5 millions for the ex-captain of Blackpool, 25 years old, is not too bad.
However, it makes better sense to play Aquilani than signing Adam.

Aquaman does not wanna play for Liverpool.....
*
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alberto_Aquilani
"While on loan at the Italian side, he managed a rate of 80% passing accuracy"
"Aquilani's agent also confirmed that the Italian international would remain at Anfield for the upcoming season dismissing rumors of a return to Italy although he has been strongly linked with Milan and Fiorentina."
"Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish paid tribute to Aquilani on his departure, stating that the only reason for the loan was an inability to fit the player into the team's preferred formation"

Ok
So he cant fit in.........if KD says he cant fit in, we take him at his word.
So whos to say otheriwse that Aqua should play instead of Adam?
*
Bad decision it is. This is exactly when the criticism comes.
King Kenny made the decision. Thus he gets the criticism.

Its ok to criticise but how in the world would you know that Aquaman can do better?

Hindsight or foresight or insight?  biggrin.gif
*
Hindsight is irrelevant to Aquaman.
He is already a Liverpool player.
We can just utilise him.

After Lucas was injured

20 games won 6 (30%)  lost 9 (45%)

Whether it tells a tale, you decide ler.............

We could have improved the depth of our squad with our money.
We just lack of depth. An obvious problem.

There is NO replacement for Meireless (Adam?).

Look at the depth of our squad couple years ago, Mascherano, Lucas, Alonso/Aquaman, Gerrard.

i think when KD took over, main concern was goals. Thats why Downing,Adam and Carroll were bought.
Adam and Downing both had goals in their boots at their previous clubs.......cometh Liverpool....
they dried up........

Adam was a cover for Meireles and Stevie who was injured at the time. As said, my guess is Adam will be
gone in the summer

Goals were not delivered.
Remember the limp player, that guy scored 22 goals (with his limped leg) before Uncle Roy came in with his long-ball-from-defenders.

Forget about goals for a second, even good lively football was not delivered.
Ngog delivers better result than Carroll.

If he can't deliver results, he should go too.

Let the result speak for itself. Fair and square.

Soltice, I just saw this message on liverpoolfc forum.

Statistically speaking, if we scored all 34 goals (that hit the woodwork), we would be 1 place higher in league position.  tongue.gif
(24 out of 34 were the crossbar-hits in EPL game)

The guy heard it from ESPN (refer to the next page of the link).
Look at the league position, you interpret the GD, points and % of win.
It makes perfect sense.

It's a double-edged decision.
One way we ship the deadwood out. The other way the owner has given a stern warning "We have BIG game coming up on Saturday".

Unlikely. If it's indeed family problems, he can choose to apply for a leave because unless in a rare situation, family problems are usually short-term.

Plus, it has been reported differently elsewhere:

Wasn't he the one to scout and negotiate the price for a potential players? Judging from the price/performance from the players he recruited so far, I'm not surprise of this outcome.
*
He (Comolli) was pivotal in the signings of Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam, Stewart Downing, Jose Enrique, Sebastian Coates and Craig Bellamy - although, in all instances, manager Kenny Dalglish had the final say in the deals.

Pivotal role, Comolli had important roll in signings players.
King Kenney made the final decision.

Well,that's quite shocking shocking.gif

The owners like i said are result oriented and are probably contemplating kenny's future as well.

Family reasons is nonsense i guess. This i believe gives a better picture
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...of-results.html

Anyway, thanks a lot comolli for the hard work you put.YNWA  bye.gif

No matter how you look at it, this is not the right time to let King Kenny go. Just not now. We have unfinished job.

Big game is coming on Saturday. King Kenny still needs to prove his worth by winning the cup.
This could keep everyone on their toes now.
