Make sure you know your models.  The past year just helps you understand the application of the model.  Some areas have not come out - read the text and notes for those areas.  On that, make sure you understand that that examiner answers are teaching a learning answers and not really exam passing materials.

Try not to aim for the examiner answer as a model to aim for, it is only a guide.

Finally cover all the articles in ACCA Technical section for P3

Focus on key areas rather than try to cover the whole syllabus.  Like in P2  Goodwill, NCI, Impairment calculation is a must.  There will be a few standards that usually repeat and the ethics question is stable (focus on stable items that usually makes an appearance on the exam and consider spotting the rest)
Seriously you have to read the questions to understand, since each question has a trap.  Sometimes it is given as a total and some times it is given as per unit.  Logic - fixed cost does not change for volume effects unless it is stepped fixed cost.

In this case, you have to understand the information given and then consider what is asked.  If there is a change in volume, like limiting factor decision, you will have to establish the fixed cost in total based on initial budgets and use that for final profit computation,  you will not show it per unit any more.

On the other hand, if it is a overhead/pricing question, you will have to work it out per unit and decide on the cost and price.

Usually companies don't adjust their fixed cost per unit - since it is covered by under / over absorb.

In the end - it depends what question you are trying - decision making OR pricing

Know your models well. It is not enough you know 5 forces. You must know how to relate the case facts to key concepts in 5 forces. Like the ABCL & Eloba case - you need to relate the fact that a customer entering into the tuition market is called ability to forward integrate, which is high power.

This sem - pay attention to budgets, pricing, marketing, pestle.  Projects is one of the examiners favourite area so pay attention to that.

Next semester those planning to do P papers on evenings and weekend can consider JPro since I will be offering all the papers P1 to P7 using a team of lecturers. Limited to 24 students only per class - this is suitable for those working in Klang / shah alam and subang side.

Does PTPTN offer loans to ACCA applicants?

You mean now they have stop the offer?

PTPN no longer applicable for ACCA where ever you do it.  ACCA is not eligible.  Government does have some grants or loans that you can apply.  The best is to use EPF if you are going to college.
