Actually CAT is a diploma, since students who complete it is given 1 year exemption in UK accounting degree.  In Malaysia it is not accepted for anything other than moving into ACCA. 

ACCA F level is considered equal to a degree since Oxford Brookes University in UK is involved vetting the qualification for Degree.  You will get the BSc (Hons) Applied Accounting once you have finished all 9 papers at F level.

The P Level is assessed at Masters level in UK, you can get a Masters by doing a top up after the P level.

Obviously the Malaysian system does not take into account what UK does since our system is way more superior   and advance .  The Malaysian education framework system   has yet to appreciate the academic vigor and requirements of ACCA yet, which lead to no points being awarded.

In this case, ACCA is not recognised for PTPN loans.

I don't think ACCA is equal to a degree, It is a professional qualification so it doesn't come under any degree, this is what i guess.
By the way if you really wanna get a degree then go for ICAEW after doing ACCA, ICAEW is considered a Degree.

oh.I was worried when I try to do f6pyq and my mind just went blank.haiz.

year 2010..about the same time I started CAT then.. That time my college and lyn-ers told me that PTPTN does not recognise CAT/ACCA. Did some research and end up with the same answer.
How you got it??

Anyone has any idea on ICAEW? I wanna do ACCA and then jump to ICAEW. I have heard that if we do P6 and P7, then only we will get 12 papers exemption but if we either 1 of them them 10 papers are exempted( but that is not an issue for me since i am planning to do 15 papers of ACCA and just gonna drop P5)
The issue is, if I do P6 Malaysia, will ICAEW give me exemption or do I need to do P6 UK???

I'll be finish ACCA in June 2014(if every thing go smooth).

Then result will be out in Aug 2014. So when I can start apply job? Is it just after exam(what result should i use since the last 2 papers result is pending) or after result release?

And normally when will Big 5 start their recruitment?
