I think batteries now can last abt 2 yrs, thats pretty much when people switch smartphones agn, so unremovable batteries arent an issue to me

I do like AOKP, but too lazy to wait for paradoxx to fix video recording, plus weekday no time flash, so temporarily will just use CM9 first

In the future our phones will be all tablet size 4.3 inch is the sweet spot already, dont get why still insist on bigger

Some screens have a longer life than other screens, unfortunately AMOLED screens degrade faster than other screens if im not mistaken

+1 another way is to stop releasing updates for it, like samsung, i dont see why galaxy s cant get ICS even though its perfectly capable of doing so. At least HTC is giving ICS updates to incredible s,desire hd etc

They releasing a GB 'value pack' which is gb with some ICS features like face unlock samsung just wanna make users get their flagship device

Most likely S2 will stop receiving updates once S3 comes out, nexus will definitely still receive updates as its a google phone

Yes, CM is AOSP. AOKP is based on AOSP,but with even more customizations

CM9 is already pretty stable and performance is better compared to sammy ICS roms. Plus with video recording, i'd say this is a fully working ROM as i dont use TV out or FM radio

Where to download kernel? Cant find
