I never use syiah beta so can't comment, maybe anyone that use syiah can comment on it

Siyah beta 7 is smoother but no MTP. Beside the smoothness and more tweaks to play with, I dun see much difference. In terms of batt life no idea, i change kernel alot lately.

nobody seems interested in the ics camera sound issue. :-(

anyway, dear sifus, want to ask another thing.

do you guys know what is "android logger"?
i'm using litening rom now, it has a "ExTweaks" that lets me customize some really techqie stuff.

one of the thing is android logger.
its enabled by default.

i think this might be causing battery drain, so i want to off it.
is it dangerous?

i google android logger and it mention something about log cat.
make me even more confuse.

Do u guys feels that ICS rom the touchscreen is not so sensitive? Try playing Temple Run compare with GB rom.. GB seems to have better touchscreen. Anyone have that problem? or if there's other ics rom fix for this? I tried Spike Pure 7.1 and wanamlite 10.3 also have this issue. LPQ and LPR

i dont use any such apps, so i should be fine right?

ok, how can I restore from TB on ICS? Since it can't find my external SD. Do I need to move the backup to my internal?

Speaking about password protect,how about an app which can hide other apps?any such apps?maybe even something which can hide files (video or photos) in file explorers?like in windows?

on HyDrOG3N-ICS is it normal that the stock gallery can't view pics on ext-sd? and why does it has two stock gallery icon on app drawer?

hrmm.. do you sync pics from picasa? 1 of the gallery have pics from my picasa account and one doesn't. I think it wasn't there when i first flash it

i saw it in xda too. but since i'm a noobie, i try the ics rom that has the most views.
turned out litening rom is the top one with 4000000 views.
so i download and try it lo.

so far its stable and fine, no hang or fc. battery is great too.
the battery on my first day with it was terrible, because i forgot to tone down the brightness.
it was 90% all day long, silly me, haha...now reduce it to 30%, can last same duration as i was in gb. not bad :-)

HyDrOG3N-ICS using an older cwm :/ can't view my internal sd card only ext-sd can view. I'm confused. How to get newer version of cwm. can  flash this kernel? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574672

can i use titanium backup to backup a game from another device to s2?

for example, i'm playing a game called "ceramics destroyer" on my tab10.1, i already play until quite many levels. but feel that its more suitable to play on my phone.

is it compatible to make a backup from the tab, and restore it on my phone? will cause brick, hang or fc?

i dont know the full meaning of aokp, but i think i know what you mean.
i am using CM9 on my tab. the interface is very simplistic, i suppose this is the 100% ICS.

CM9 is great on my tab, but for a phone, i gotten too used to some TW features.
such as task manager, clock, calender, and the notification bar brightness control.
so this litening rom is a real blessing for me :-)

strange, i remember last time i ask about cyanogen mod,
you guys told me its not good for S2, since its too simplistic, and lack of features.
mainly for lausy hardware.
now suddenly in ics, its good again?

sammy ICS and GB is not much different, just added swipe notification and browser.

obviously CM9 > CM7 in many ways.
but is CM9 > sammy ICS?
seems like sammy ICS got more features wor...
(task manager, statusbar brightness control, tw widgets, etc...)

what is present in CM9 that sammy ics dont have?
the launcher doesn count since apex launcher can be installed.
CM9 using stock ics camera that has zero shutter lag?

yeah, glad to know that. i can backup angry birds space too.
  tab is big and nice to play game, but its not with me all the time, my phone is.

really.. let me try flashing it back. love HyDrOG3N-ICS but the prob with cwm freak me out

What is the problem with CWM? Not working?
I'm thinking of joining you guys....but between CM9 and Hydrogenics which has a more stable camera and video recording?

I would like try something different from my current Stock DXLP7....hands itchy
