I've got question with regard BSN bt... have any one applied it?

How the monthly installment to be made? becoz i quite confuse with it.

pay min 5% monthly (for 1 - 5 month) and lump sum at the 6 month.

or

pay as per statement.

appreciate any of your reply.
*
that one is for bank islam bro. pls read carefully

for this case, if you BT RM 1k, then this is the min monthly repayment (on the BT only. Retail purchase repayment you need to pay in full or else you will be charged interest)

1st mth : RM 50
2nd mth : RM 50
3rd mth : RM 50
4th mth : RM 50
5th mth : RM 50
6th mth : RM 750

if you still pay RM 50 on the 6th month, then you owe the bank RM 700 after the completion of the BT program and they will charge you normal cc interest rate which is totally a no no

Anyway, best you call their CS and double check. Don't trust me only. I may have wrong understanding and give you wrong info

Hi ALL BT sifus,

If I have 2 CCs with 20K credit limit each, how can I BT 20K if I do not swipe the card to buy things?
Any card to let me "BT the credit limit" without swipe the card to buy things?

I totally agree with you. I only have one concern here to be honest... When i request for Balance transfers, do I need to chase up periodically? cos I do chase up AEON when I request for BT's but AEON quite responsive. BS* on the other hand Im not sure.

Whats your experience been so far?

Anyone else can share?

Came across 2 offers of BT plan from my UOB Credit Card agent :-

1. 6 months repayment with 0% interest rate applied
2. 12 months repayment with 1% interest upfront payment applied.

Sounds reasonable aite ? smile.gif

Can you further elaborate? For #2, is it 1% upfront and 12 months 0% interest BT?

According to what she mentioned to me yesterday, an example of the following :-

- Balance transfer amount of RM4,000
- 1% Upfront payment which is RM40
- Total will be RM4,040 and divided 12 months repayment, must be punctual if not it will be revert back to the ordinary credit card interest rates.

The problem if UOB doesn't provide a separate BT account , you cannot use the UOB CC as the BT balance will incur interest charges every month if you settled all retail purchases on time doh.gif

Just be careful. whistling.gif whistling.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

Hmm .. I guess this is what happened to my HLB CC whereby the BT amount will fall under one account and interest rates will be charged from time to time without my notice. Compare to the CIMB of mine, its a totally different approach .. sweat.gif

Should avoid BT program which lumps the BT amount + Retail amount in same CC account shakehead.gif
