called Citibank this midnite ard 12am. they are offering 0.99% pa for 6 months BT for certain existing customers like myself.. hmm...

due to i wanna purchase S3 for dad for gifts...

i have somehow over-paid my Citibank... where there's a sufficient funds to purchase a S3 from Digi with cheapest plan possible..

so if i get the Digi S3 from shops witth Amex on saturday... 2nd june = new month... RM2099 + RM28 + RM50 = RM2177.

Rm2177X5 = 10885 TP + RM50 Cash rebate on sat... hmm..

then BT over to Citibank for 6 months... interest rate @ 0.45% for 6 months. *Average Calculation*

Interest rates are just a mere Rm10++

thats Interesting tongue.gif

Shall ask further details with Citibank later today~
*
Do be careful as Citibank may not create a separate BT account... or you will need to freeze using the Citibank CC to avoid "extra" interest

The Cash Advance will start charging interest (up to 10.8% p.a.) from the day you get the Cash from your Credit Card.
It's 2% processing fee, not for the time to clear the Cash advance lah doh.gif

For UOB BT Program, please ensure your final payment is exactly on the Expiry Date of the BT in order not to pay Early Settlement (if early) or Finance Charges (if late).
You can call the Customer Service to check the expiry date of your BT program.

IMHO, these BT program with Early Settlement Fee should be avoided rolleyes.gif whistling.gif cool.gif wink.gif

anyone got idea how fast the balance tansfer will be approved? I means how many days or working days for each bank? anyone can provided and updated in main page for reference?
*
Some banks are slow... but most will try to pay the other CC before the Statement Due Date (thus important to submit CC statement)

as long as you don't call in and request for full settlement, you'll be fine. excess money paid will only shows an extra payment made. don't worry, i'm doing this myself. paying in advance and let it deduct by it's own every month.
*
Is yours also BT program from UOB ?

QUOTE(fookiat @ Oct 2 2012, 10:42 AM)
the scenario,

Bank A - oustanding 4k, cc limit 5k
Bank B - oustanding 4k, cc limit 5k
Bank C - oustanding 3k, cc limit 5k

I want to do Balance Transfer to Bank D. Is it possible? Because my cc limit is only 5k for all the banks.
*
This why BT is "evil" creating more debt for people who can't control CC spending.
