i have to admit, CIMB BT is the Best. From submitting the form by Fax and money to appear in acc just only 3 working days! Amazing.

Unlike SCB, apply to tele recorded and requires 10 working days which is almost 12 days for the money goes through. End up i have to clear those due payment first for healthy CCRIS

AEON BT is just as slow to pay MBB but charge to Unbilled very quick (same day as approval)
Still no sign after 6 working days   

Which means i need to apply cimb credit card first then apply for BT or i directly apply for BT without having cimb credit card?

Hi all, I have some question here. Let say my current limit now is only 6K and normally BT limit from a bank is just 80% of available credit limit (meaning only RM4800 can be BT).

However, I need to BT about 5K. Can I topup on my current credit limit 6K by paying cash in advance to the bank of RM250 to increase till RM6250. So I can BT ngam ngam 5K (80% of RM6250)?

Please help to advise. Thank you.

i plan to apply for BT from my outstanding in RHB cc to my Aeon Watami card. My RHB statement will be out on 26.1.2014 (payment due date =15.2.2014) and my Watami card statement is 10.2.2014

I wish to have the Aeon watami paying my RHB debts after 10.2.2014 but before the RHB cc due date on 15.2.14.

so if i summit my BT application form to Aeon after the CNY; ie on Wed 5.2.2014, do you think  Aeon credit can pay in time my RHB debts before due date on 15.2.2014?

hsbc said they have already disburse the money, can't do anything from their side. they ask me to call the credit card that im transferring from to reverse the payment. then i call the cc they say they havent receive anything yet, and should ask hsbc to stop payment. im just worried if i cancel one of them, will i be charged the interest? coz I took the 3% fee bt. if they gonna charge me even if i cancel then i'll end up paying 6%!

don't know about u all, this is my first time doing a b/t and it seems applying to various banks seem like not a good idea after all.

i can't understand the logic once we apply and they approve, then cannot cancel d / need to pay the interest if want to cancel. not like mortagage where u can decide to accept their offer / credit card where u need to activate it only considered u accept. bt - once approve i must accept??

obviously everybody wants the best rates but if we got rejected by the bank we need some backup plans rite.

Hi guys, another tips to share on BT for AEON...
If you want to BT including your supp card swipes, please make sure the statement submitted show the principal card number with total amount (principal+supp) side by side.
Last month, I used the ocbc paper statement, both principal and supp card siwpes were BT-ed.
This month, I used the ocbc e-statement (to save time by not waiting for paper statement), end up only the principal card swipes were considered.    If you have ocbc e-statement, you will know what I meant.
E-Statement from HLB and MBB are fine.
That's why I hate those banks which still do not have the e-statement with exact layout like the actual/paper statement. 

I would think so. So far mine are still within 3.
Anyway, there is no limit of BT application except the CL available limit.
