Damn! It's really fast from outside of my house. I'm not joking. without data enabled, it locks abt 7 sec. with data enabled only 2 sec ( I move to different location abt 7 houses for 2nd try). can't believe it myself.

I like the latest fw update very much. there is no more lag when switching between apps and the zooming/scrolling animation is smooth. I'm using zeam launcher. m

There is no update if you use OTA, faced same problem too. I use samsung kies to update (usb connection). Just now I try GPStest from outside of my office in KL. without data enabled it took abt 14 sec to lock (after the splash screen). 4 sec to lock if data enabled.

I'm also curious, from previous v1 thread some user complaint that they have difficulties in getting gps lock. I faced no problem at all even with previous fw. usually I turn on my gps and run the sygic, by the time I got inside of my car the gps already lock which is less than 1 minute.

I'm using GPS Test. developer Chartcross Ltd. a free version. forgot to mention I also enable the 'Use sensor aiding'. I don't know what it is for anyway.

Today I experienced 1st phone freeze since updated to latest fw. I was using google map and latitude. had to take out the battery. But few days before that the phone become hot (40 c) without apparent reason. it was on idle mode. Currently it's running ok, got some lag if I kept switching between apps (fb and internet).

Yeah, occasionally, it happened to me too. Onavo app that I'm using currently detect 55% data usage but digi said 75%. hmmm which one is correct.

I use app named Onavo

Maybe not enough space in your internal memory.

Make sure your phone is at least 40% charged (if Im not mistaken). if not, the kies will prompt you to charge. it cant do charging and updating at the same time

Use task manager to clear the memory.

Digi is having netwrk upgrade for 1 month and service might have some interruption

Just installed 'Fast Reboot' (free version). IMHO, it work better than the built-in task manager and RAM manager. Previously my phone still laggy after I ran the task manager and clearing the RAM. This app make the phone 'fresh' like newly switched on.

There another one called 'Hot Reboot'. It is for the rooted phone and it's a paid version.

how long u chsrge ur phone? My battery still ok. I charge it on daily basis about 7 hours continuosly.

Have you tried Fast Reboot app? maybe with this app you can avoid hardware reboot.

Fast reboot = faster than normal reboot. about 1 second. u hv nothing too loose. if dun like it, uninstall.
