same problem with the stock battery, bought the sun global 1800mh for Rm45 through LYN and so far its been good.. still with the routine of overcharge though cause placing it to charge at night tongue.gif

I'm using one with 2000mah Ienergy brand, bought frm Tech gaga in March. so far so good. but I'm stiill testing if theres some decline, recently installed some new apps and battery life seemed to drain faster. batterys abt 11 hrs with mix of game n surfing. with 3g barely any drain if left idle.

To prevent over charging , for i will off the phone and charge it for about 1hr+ and turn it back on off the 3g n charge usually will be full by the next half hr. unplug and leaving it that way usually have 90-95%left by morning time. The challenge here is remembering to turn the phone baxck on

ok... got it. what brand are you using ? i worrying third party will explode or not. but original one seems like not reliable. sigh...
that day i saw one thread on LYN also, forget what brand it is, but selling at Rm75 with 5 years warranty...

iENERGY bought from tech gaga. 2000mah. rm 65 at that time. so far so good. As of today no signs of swelling and a funny camera issue i had is gone. I had the same worry like u abt 3rd party stuff , it depends on the third party brand i believe the likes of sunglobal would not give a problem and it was the battery brand i considered 1st. The seller was sick couldn't reply my pm so i had to buy ienergy instead.

My friend's Galaxy Note 1's battery also swollen.. Samsung Battery issue or what?

Depends la. if its not defective then it could be usage habits, like using cap ayam charger, overcharge and also wait till battery totally dead then charge(repeated incidents). however W seem got many pesakit with bateri bengkak hmm.gif

I believe she didnt use cap ayam charger as she sayang her phone so much. Just swallow without reason, and the battery now cant last for an hour or two.

something really wrong abt the battery if the phone quite new eg 3 months.. My old samsung galaxy mini now given to my bro is close to 2 years old. No battery issues so far. Anyhow lucky W replacement battery is not too expensive, average RM50.00 for non ori and ori around RM99 if not mistaken (check their pamphlet)
