(We can say it is new if we want and mislead a buyer but this is not the way we do business)

-New units are brand new

The differences would be the warranty duration and price

And yes this is for the modem only, no sim

In terms of spec it is the same (21.6Mbps Downlink / 5.76Mbps Uplink) HSPA+,
E586 is oval shaped, without external antenna slot.
E586E is rectangle shaped, with TS9 external antenna slot.

We should have E587 (DC-HSPA+) by next week, approximately priced at RM700 with 6 months warranty or RM800 with 1 year warranty.

E586E was told to be better in reception wise according to one of our customer as he bought both E586 and E586E.
Later on he also bought E587 and he told it was even better than E586E. Hehe

Hi there

We here at Andrew's E-Store would recommend Huawei, followed by ZTE and the list goes on.

But don't get us wrong, it is just our preference, ZTE is good though and both manufacturer are infact using Qualcomm MDM8220 chipset on E587 and MF80.

It's just that we feel Huaweis are always with better in design and their dashboard is more user friendly, more or less like Nokia and Sony Ericcson phones back then.

As for the Wi-Fi clients, yes only MF80 supporting up to 10 devices at the moment,

"lagi banyak device connect, lagi-la perlahan" hehe, it also depends on your connection speed actually, if it is sufficient enough to accommodate.

Maybe Huawei is just trying to be on the safe side and keeping it on bay by allowing 5 Wi-Fi clients only.

At the end of the day it is based on individual preference.
