Hi there

In terms of specs, all E5331, E586 and E586E is the same but E586E is the best among all for the HSPA+ 21.6Mbps category.

E5331 is a low-end (budget) model, E586 is a mid-end model and E586E is high-end model.

E586E is proven to have better coverage among all these models in low signal areas.

E586 is better than E5331 but in terms of signal E586E is much better.

Lets say, if E5331 achieves 2 bar, E586 3 bar and E586E will achieve 4 bar.

However, it won't make much differences on all 3 if you are located at a full coverage area

Yes, you can connect via USB.
Via USB - Only Windows and MAC.

You can stop the WiFi by disabling the access point through its interface.
