So that basically means the gradient banding is caused by the app itself and not the phone?
*
Seems to be the case, from what he summarised hmm.gif

Agreed, app store strongpoints are in games. That's why there are many iphone users, since most normal users dont really do photoshop on their phone, they just want to play games. Well, in iOS's defense, they still have infinity blade, which is by far one of the best graphical games. Android is more of a customizable OS, have lots of freedom to customise here and there.

In the end, its all personal preference  nod.gif

Confess what?  tongue.gif
*
Yeah, I like the geeky customization part.

I think iPhone is mostly visual customization right, like Cydia n what nots. I like the whole kernel/governor/etc etc customability of Android as well laugh.gif

But yea, do think Play still behind. Developers have more incentive to go there I guess, for mixture of reasons

Use cf root kernel 5.4. It fixes the sdcard issue. Other kernel need to unmount sd card before restore.

On screen protectors,

I used to be a firm believer of no screen protector. And it's find if you use like flip cases or some pouch/sock/sleeve or something.

But with my S2, I initially went without screen protector. Eventually got few micro scratches on it. So for peace of mind, eventually went against myself and put one on.

My experience at least. YMMV biggrin.gif
