im quite sure that many people think the normal jazz looks better than the jazz hybrid. this is because jazz hybrid doesn't have spoiler or bodykit and also ugly looking rims with small size(15inch). the new front grill and new lamp is still ok. i want to buy the jazz hybrid but still waiting for the ckd price by the end of this year. later i think i want to opt for the optional 16inch rims that honda has and mybe just the spoiler because the bodykit for jazz hybrid doesn't look nice at all. but i don't see any optional rims for jazz hybrid in HM website. the only available are for city, insight and normal jazz. so does it means that i cannot opt the rims for the car?if so,why?

you need to explore more..
if you got the money, you can turn the look 100% as the petrol version.

Not really sure how much lower you expect CKD to be, Hybrid Japan version already tax exempted.
CKD version, maybe need to remove lot of feature in order to look cheaper.

frankly, the reason of having smaller rims is meant for hybric and to assist the owner to serve the purpose of having a hybrid car, i.e. lower fuel consumption.

if the original car comes with bigger rim, spoiler, bodykits, it defeats purpose of the hybrid car

that is right, but definitely prefer the rims on the jazz/crz/insight to the civic rims, somehow the civic hybrid rims is just plain ugly

somehow,i have the feeling that jazz hybrid CKD will not be as good as the CBU n the spec will be lower. i am currently own a city idsi 06 FL which was built at melaka. the fit n finish is quite unsettled and if i sit in the front passenger, i must put my leg both more to the right because theres a bump for the front left wheel. another issue with my car was how come a honda wheel bearing that only can last for 2years at under 40k mileage?.quite dissapointing for a honda. then after 2,3 years i've been searching forums about other honda models which assembled in melaka, i think indeed the CKD honda are not as good as the CBU. like the accord n civic which have poor NVH but good NVH in other countries. hmm.gif

For sure CKD is not as good as CBU.
I own a Jazz assemble in Thailand, as good as Japanese version.
I don't think anything to do with Honda.. is the worker.

I would definitely question about CKD's overall quality. Besides that doing in here for the first time is like guinea pig trials. Everything done for first time sure got some "headache". I hope when Honda does the car here, all other parts are still imported and not rely on local vendor to supply the alternatives. Or else end up like local car makes blaming the vendors for low quality parts etc...

Pricing becomes political:
On the pricing side, I don't think the gov would let the pricing go lower because Proton is coming out with it's hybrid model. By then tax may be imposed. However this morning's Malaysiakini, PKR vows to pledges down car prices. Election gimic or true?

That's right, don't know why they'd use different brake pad on the JH. I might considering changing to either Insight or CRZ stock pad coz they didnt give the same issue...

today i went to check out the new civic. then i just wanna ask about the CKD jazz hybrid .my SA told me that if can, dont buy the CKD because the fit n finish might be a little 'handicapped' and the specs mybe lesser. he also said that dont be shocked if the price doesn't justify the losses u got in terms of quality n quantity and also if the price doesn't change. unsure.gif

Totally no surprise if that happen..
I suspect less complicated accessories too... and multiple time of face lift and lift and lift after that.
malaysian style ...
