And btw, I noticed whenever the back passenger buckle seat belt, there is a ding sound, is it standard featured for jh and does it related to the passenger seatbelt indicator ? Glad to own a hybrid car, still catching up with it's 'behavior' Congrats BBH on your new car..another red in da house.. Ya, its normal to have that ding whenever some one pull the seat belt and its related to the indicator..

QUOTE(xweird @ Jun 25 2012, 10:29 PM) Something weird after the repair: when engage in D gear, the car doesn't creep forward. At the slightest slope the car will roll backwards unless I press the gas pedal. Anyone else experiencing the same thing? I thought jazz hybrid supposed to have hill start assist function? Could it be after repair my car got problem? Gary, i think he meant after his ECU related repairs. If I remember correctly sometimes the car will not creep forward when in D mode.. Anyway what you can do to confirm whether you have a problem there is to try to put the car in D mode right after a cold start when the RPM is hovering around 1500 RPM, usually in this situation the car will creep forward without any throttle input due to the high idling RPM. As for the rollback, i could be wrong but all auto cars tends not to have that on minor slopes when you are in the D mode..I will try to check that again with the car later.

QUOTE(Nirwana @ Jun 26 2012, 11:32 AM) Want to ask, my car is 1000km now, not yet 1st service, is it advisable to travel far distance or speed 120-130kmh? Need to travel to johor from KL. The first 1000km service is just an inspection, nothing was changed so i don't see why you cant travel far distance before the first service.. Added on June 26, 2012, 1:45 pmQUOTE(alxdc @ Jun 26 2012, 12:17 PM) i think most of the jazz hybrid and insight, owners are new to CVT. Its normal the car will roll back even on a slight slope. U need to press the brake hard to activate the hill start assist. But even if its a very steep slope, with the hill start assist, the car will still roll back. If encounter this, just pull the handbrake. Previous honda city with CVT, doesnt come with hill start assist, so have to use handbrake when ever come to a slope.. so its normal, nothing wrong with ur jazz hybrid That's true, this is our first CVT.. lol, thanks for the info from a CVT veteran. QUOTE(alxdc @ Jun 27 2012, 11:39 PM) yup true. adding body kits and spoiler indeed will affect the fuel consumption. But I don't think you can see any difference in your daily drive. I mean come on, with that little extra weight, you can't even see the difference of fuel consumption. Unless you are talking about from 16" rim to 17" or 18" or bigger rim. Now that has a big impact on consumption. Bodykits?...come on guys...............we are driving a hybrid. down force? how fast can we go...... CRZ can go up to 215km/h and its a Hybrid..

QUOTE(loon23 @ Jul 12 2012, 01:30 PM) possible geh..train your right foot Yep, light foot and zen driving. Currently i'm getting 4.6l/100km without ECO mode, just quick & light acceleration to 80-90km/h and then cruise.. Before this used to have between 5.5 - 5.9l/100km in ECO mode with tortoise driving.. :I

QUOTE(xweird @ Jul 12 2012, 05:38 PM) That's mostly highway driving or city driving ? Hmm, I would say 50-50..these are our three main routes and areas 1. Within Puchong area 2. Between Puchong-PJ via Sunway and then Federal Highway 3. Between Puchong-Klang via LDP-ELITE-NKVE Added on July 13, 2012, 2:38 pmQUOTE(ahbee63 @ Jul 12 2012, 09:39 PM) Just found out this...... If happen that you stop the engine and put out car key then saw car window forget to close, you can direct close up car window without put back car key & turn to on position as long you don't open car door. QUOTE(gid @ Jul 27 2012, 08:04 PM) That's right, don't know why they'd use different brake pad on the JH. I might considering changing to either Insight or CRZ stock pad coz they didnt give the same issue...

QUOTE(nestortcy @ Jul 28 2012, 09:45 PM) Can direct get Honda change for us FOC? Bro, I dont think they would do that for free since the brake dust will be consider by them as normal and not defect.. Added on August 1, 2012, 11:07 amQUOTE(Luis85 @ Jul 29 2012, 09:01 AM) So full tank about 70+ for 600 km/h? Are you using the Eco mode as well? How long you bought this jazz hybrid? Is it ok so far? So far we manage to get lowest 555km and highest 621km, Normal mode most of the time wit 70% highway.. This post has been edited by MetalMic: Aug 1 2012, 11:07 AM

QUOTE(Luis85 @ Aug 1 2012, 01:56 PM) So there's a lot of dust on the rim? How often that you need to clean it? Thanks for sharing your info. I clean it whenever i went for car wash.. , actually it builts up very very fast, around two to three drives after each wash and not to mention JH's brakes are very responsive as well.

Our best was 678km, for 50% highway and 50% city...average is between 620 - 650km Added on December 4, 2012, 1:33 pmQUOTE(nicodemus @ Dec 3 2012, 01:21 PM) I made a booking for a White HJH last Friday, wanna ask does the car come with Tint? And anyone traded in the stock rims, wondering how much can the stock rims and tyre can sell. Most tyre shop in Klang, you can trade in for max RM 1000, we just traded our stock rim and tyres @ around 8,700km for RM1,000. This post has been edited by MetalMic: Dec 4 2012, 01:33 PM

QUOTE(visva @ Dec 13 2012, 03:10 PM) It's interesting to hear how different SC behaves professionally. Just to share a little here... LIke many of you I have 3 free service. During my 2nd service I was late by a month. I was late because I wasn't in the country and they made a fuss saying that I need to pay. I prove to them by showing my mileage that was very low. They suggested that I should appoint someone to drive the car. Then after talking to the manager my service was free. I was warned not to be late again but i told them if I travel again i will be late. That's the thing, the Service Advisor at Kah Motor Puchong was so adamant that all SC has the same policy, bla bla.. I wasn't there to be debating this with that guy coz my wife sent the car for the 3rd service and I told her to be changing to the full synthetic 0W oil. Added on December 16, 2012, 11:47 amQUOTE(shagalot @ Dec 15 2012, 09:34 PM) I don't see the Touch Screen Display as part of the Honda Malaysia Accessories package. Your SA may have done it outside. You may want to check out how much does one head unit with touch screen & GPS cost... Exactly, it's definitely the SA doing it outside of Honda with outside accessory shop. A decent Pioneer DVD player will just cost you around RM 3K with additional GPS module. Other cap X china OEM DVD player with built in GPS module don't even touch 1.5K..so remember to ask your SA the brand of the unit that he is gonna install for you for that 3.9K price This post has been edited by MetalMic: Dec 16 2012, 11:47 AM

QUOTE(HouLanSaiLei @ Jan 6 2013, 11:33 PM) just to share my 1 wk experience with u never drove wth eco on. when in d, and about to stop completely, it ll auto-stop. the engine ll only kick back when: 1. u release the brake pedal 2. the ipu feels ur cabin is above set temperature and air con compressor needs to kick 3. when u move from d to n and release the brake pedal (pls rem to pull ur handbrake here incase ur car rolls back or forward) Also sometimes esp in hot days and air con compressor needs to keep running, even when u stop at traffic lights n still engaged in d and brake pedal depressed, auto-stop wont kick in. IPU calls the shot in deciding when to auto-stop ur engine. Brake dust in massive on my rims too and i m sure its common. Today i managed to get 5l/100kms! My other e90 6 cylinder has been averaging 13l/100kms!!!! Also regardless of the above, auto stop will only last around 30 - 40s in non ECO mode and max 1 min when in ECO mode.

QUOTE(jackytiong @ Jan 7 2013, 05:34 PM) mine just few seconds in non ECO in D. N will never stop. is that normal? I'm not sure about N coz I never shift to N.. , but it's normal to have short auto-stop in non ECO mode especially if your aircon is set to lower temperature.
