There is NO official release yet
what you have on XDA is based on the China i9200 model leaked ICS rom. That is why the CPU speed is being limited to 1.2 Ghz only on these ICS roms
You have basically 2 types of ICS roms at XDA : pure vanilla ICS ( aopk or aosp ) without Samsung TW and most of Samsung esp S pen related apps. So S Pen cannot be used to print screen and no S memo apps. You can only use the S Pen to write/draw only on alternative apps

The other type of ICS rom comes with Touch Wiz and all the S pen apps - eg Team Rocket, Criskelo and Midnote roms these being the popular ones

You can also opt to flash through Odin in PC ( no yellow triangle) deoexed DXLC2 rom ( spore rom ) which comes prerooted

I used Heindall only for my previous SGS II , a few times. But after that went back to use ODin in Windows ( on the MAC). Odin is so much easier

I run my Windows 7 via VMWare Fusion and is 32 bit version. No harm trying lah!

betterbatterystats gives you a clear view of what is draining your battery, for example in the image below, the process "GPS" is causing the wakelock thus draining the Note's battery.

from my understanding, partial wakelocks scans apps/core apps running in the background for wakelocks while the kernel wakelock scans the Note's internal process for wakelock.

Now betterbatterystats work well in conjunction with another app called CPU Spy in which the app details you the amount of time your Note spends on which CPU speed. You can check if your Note has gone into deep sleep or not. In deep sleep, the Note drains the least amount of battery as much as possible.

If a wakelock is plaguing your Note, you can see the Note spends most of the time in 100mhz in CPU Spy which is bad.

load up cpu spy, it will display which cpu speed spends how many amount of time in.

you can go even lower than 100mhz which is deep sleep mode. In 100mhz, your Note is waking up too much running in the background thus sucking your battery. 1400mhz is the time when you are currently using your note.

what do u mean by cpu spy???/ need to dload also...?
