Erm, Kotick just resigned from Activision few months ago. The CEO of Activision is now Peter Hisenberg or something.

I still think EA is worse than Activision now.

Dunno should i preorder this, scared it turns out sucky and the always online thing isnt really what im looking for in a game.

Looks like i'll just get the cheapest possible copy then. Dont care where it come from.

Just bought book of cain after thinking about it for a few days.

You are pretty much the same as me, as i dont really have the urge to play games from day to night. Probably there are better things to do now, just than just playing games 24/7.

I still play pretty much everyday, but not as much as i did when i was in college.

I have never bought from offgamers. Is it really a trustable site? Where is the site based? Philippines?

Come to think of it, i think buying a copy of Diablo 3 from europe might be safest choice, in case chinese gamers flood the US RMAH.

I need to wait 2 bloody weeks for the game though.

Hopefully i can get it for $1 to $2 next week. One of the retail chains in Australia is closing down, so they are selling all their old games at really low prices.

I know it doesnt matter on which region do you buy from, just that, i want the cheapest price of the game. UK copies seems to be cheapest so far, with 52AUD. I am not gonna use RMAH, so that doesnt really matter.

My copy is set to Australian address, i guess it will be US RMAH then. Thanks for the clarification.

I am not even sure i can find any, as the information got leaked on the internet, like Uncharted 3 for 5AUD and Nintendo DSi for 20AUD. It is seriously dafuq prices so people gonna queue up there like its free. Then, whole lot of PC games like Arkham City, Saints Row 3, Rage and so on dropped to 15AUD. Even older games like Crysis 1 become 1AUD. Feels like April Fools joke la. How can it be so cheap?

My D3 Beta Client seems to be not working again.

Why is the installer so difficult to use? It just got stuck at Updating Setup.

Managed to play a bit of D3 Beta. Barbarian is incredibly meaty and fun to play.

Might be my main class in the final game.

Diablo 3 doesnt actually feel like im playing a diablo game. The art style is still feels like water colour art which doesnt give the gritty feeling. I think Grim Dawn's art style is what Diablo 3 should look like, gritty and dark.

The spell trees are gone, which feels a bit strange to me as you get spells by an unlock tree like CoD. It is not bad, but i think Blizzard might have done it better in my opinion as it feels a little bit dumbed down. Something along the lines of Skyrim or better, Guild Wars 2 would be really nice as i think the points attribute system in Diablo 2 is seriously unsuitable for a game these days.

However, i love the physics systems with corpse flying around or some random object destroyed. The melee and range attack does feel powerful compared to the impact less attacks in Torchlight.

I think Diablo 3 has a whole, as its has trade off between traditional ideas and new ideas, just as i am expecting from a Jay Wilson project. It will still be fairly competent, at least.

Still, i do not recommend CE though, as i dont think getting CE is a good idea. Too expensive and you might overhype it yourself. What i'll do now is, get standard edition and then, pay $35 for Grim Dawn at Kickstarter.

Crate, developers of Grim Dawn absolutely nailed the art style of Diablo 1 and 2 while the effects are still fairly good. The art is terrible as the way it is now, cause they do not have full time artist. They only have 2 full time staff.

No i do not see a point of a D3 subforum. We need a Blizzard games subforum to combine all 3 Blizzard games in one subforum.
