Yep , does it support QoS or not. IF it does not , there is no way (well there is , unless you wish to convert your PC into a server for this)

Mine doesn't have QoS...care to teach? I've spare PC to convert as server...

Here's my situation, i am in a room with 2 other roomies and lately i found out one of them has been downloading BT non stop. I have been having a hard time even connecting my yahoo messenger.

So i am wondering if there's any software where i can control the speed. The room has one port and we are using a router, to share the connection.

Please help cry.gif

Same as mine, streamyx connection are shared among 4 housemates. Connection still bad though I blocked all the P2P ports through the routers. The drastic action taken is I totally block them through MAC address in the router at the specific hour. This is the last resort.

i dont know if this is possible, but if you really want to do so, you can try to talk to tmnet, tell them to uncap your DSLAM speed, you should get 8mbps, then apply for four streamyx accounts, so if each is using 1mbps, then your line is transfering 4mbps. I have tried to connect 2-3 streamyx accounts using the same line ( you just need different modem to dial ) my connection was 1mbps, and the line speed was 3mbps, i manage to utiliize all the bandwidth, it worked.
