buying the prime is the best choice u'll ever make

some say the wifi is weak, but i didn't face any issues on this, i tested it with my other 2 android phones, it gets almost the same signal strength as both, so i don't know what are ppl complaining about

for me, the best thing about it is the keyboard dock, seriously, it's the BEST functioning hardware of all, no tablets in the market (except for the yet to launch Chinese brands) has this advantage, because i'm traveling a lot and needs to do remote access to my linux servers (do a lot of command typing), the keyboard dock serves me very well, the tablet is docked 70% of the time, and in heavy usage the battery can last me at least 2 days! and i bought a heavy duty bag (for 10 inch gadgets) which is quite small, but it can put in quite a lot of stuff, it's like a Doreamon magic pouch that has infinity space inside. I got the prime inside, then put in a portable speaker (edifier mp221), portable HDD (WD 1TB), charger, a pendrive, and a bluetooth mouse. When i pull out everything everybody who saw me do it was because the size of the bag is less than half of a standard laptop bag!

and the best thing about the prime is it's storage, it's got 32gb already, but i can put in a normal 32gb SD card and a 32gb micro SD card, which means it now has around 120gb of storage capacity. i haven't even plug in my 1TB portable HDD yet. Watching 1080p bluray rip movies is absolutely perfect, i've tested a movie that is 9gb big and it plays smoothly with MX player with software sound decoding.

me too, using desire HD until now, still loving it, will use it till it's broken.

but he's right about using it to the max also, no point in buying a high performance gadget and let it collect dust

i didn't even bother formatting it to NTFS, just use FAT and transfer is ok even for files more than 10gb, but slow only. prefer to plug in to PC and transfer from there, much faster.

yeah, i also tried bluray rip movies that are above 10gb, nice smooth playback on MX, but really not much difference between that and full DVD movies that are 4gb due to the small screen

if it's external USB drives (e.g. pendrive or HDD) then YES

just to share, the coolest thing for the moment

fyi, u will need to install the printer's driver in order to use it, and most drivers are windows based

i'm still using stock browser and dolphin HD. sometimes stock browser quite slow, don't know why. My friend's xoom using stock browser is faster than mine.

if u r rich, dull, and only uses tablet to play games, nothing else, then iOS is the obvious choice

if u r not rich (like most of us), appreciates beauty and uses tablet to do all sorts of stuff (like u use a laptop), then of course the T.Prime is the obvious choice

it seems u asked the question in the wrong forum. of course i choose the Prime because i'm already using it, ipad don't even comes close. they r 2 totally different devices and are world's apart

if gps isn't important to you, then it is the perfect tablet. i replaced my laptop with it, it can do almost 90% of the stuff i can do with my laptop, but the laptop can't even accomplish 50% of the things that can be done on the Prime.

it's an easy choice really. if u r willing to pay for most of the games / apps and do NOTHING ELSE except play games, then the ipad is the best device.

of course iOS is smooth, it only has ONE FUNCTION and that is to open apps on it's home screen, that's why we call it the apple app drawer (as in android app drawer).

SG ppl started converting to android phones already, most of them changed from iphones to samsung especially the Note. U know y? because SG ppl really kiasu

and benchmark scores doesn't really mean anything, real world usage is more important. plus, the 1x is a phone, it can't be compared to a tablet, if want to compare these 2 totally different things for real world usage then the 1X will only win in 1 aspect, it's phone functions, other than that, it is utterly useless compared to the Prime.

this is weird, i don't face any issues on performance mode however i use it. never draw line before so no comment on this. been playing a lot of 3d games for quite a while, no flickering whatsoever. what batch is your T.Prime? mine is 2nd batch.

trust me, u don't need face unlock, it's really only a gimmick. i used it for 10 minutes then switch it off (on a phone)

u need to understand how android works. it is a full blown OS in which it tries to do everything at once, iOS is NOT a full blown OS, it's just an app drawer that has only one function - to open apps, that's it. how stupid are the guys at apple to screw it up when their product only does one thing? if it still lags when performing it's only function it's basically useless and nobody is going to use it
